Thank you for joining me for this breathwork practice designed to purify and activate the chakra system.
For this practice,
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Take a few moments to settle in.
Wherever you are,
Begin to feel the weight of the body rooting down into the surface beneath you.
Start by taking a deep inhale into the low belly,
Expanding into the chest,
And releasing with a sigh.
Let it go.
Take a quick scan of the body,
Starting at the tip of the toes,
Noticing where you may still be holding onto tension,
And energetically sending the breath to these areas as you release the muscles.
Scanning up the legs,
To the buttock and hips.
Allowing the stomach to relax.
Feeling the weight of the shoulders,
Relaxing the jaw,
Releasing tension in the cheeks,
Unfurrowing the brow.
Another deep inhale.
Then an open mouth exhale.
Let it go.
Draw your awareness now to the root chakra at the base of the spine.
Visualize a golden orb oscillating within this space.
As you inhale,
Draw your golden orb up the back body,
Moving through each chakra.
As the golden orb rises up towards the crown of the head,
Watch as it rounds the crown,
Passing the third eye,
And gently landing on the tip of the tongue as you press it towards the back of your teeth.
As you exhale,
Release the golden orb from the tip of your tongue,
Down the front body to its point of origin at the root chakra.
Inhale,
Golden orb rising,
Cleansing and purifying sacral,
Solar plexus,
Heart,
Throat,
Crown,
Third eye,
And gently landing on the tip of the tongue.
Exhale to release from tip of the tongue,
Passing the throat,
Activating the heart,
Solar plexus,
Sacral,
And root.
Inhale,
Draws the golden orb up the spine,
Cleansing and purifying.
Pausing at the tongue,
And exhale,
Release is down the front body,
Activating each chakra center as it passes through.
Inhale,
Golden orb levitating up the back body,
And exhale,
Releasing from tip of the tongue.
Front body.
Inhale,
Draw your golden orb up the spine,
And exhale,
Watch as it floats back down.
Inhale from root to crown,
And exhale from tongue to root.
Continue at your own pace for seven more rounds,
Counting down from seven.
If you lose count,
Begin again at seven.
Releasing control of the breath,
Allowing it to return to its natural rhythm and flow.
And visualizing this closed circuit of energy,
Golden light moving through you.
Take another deep belly breath in,
And as you exhale,
Watch golden light expand in the space around you.
Another deep cleansing breath in,
And golden light illuminating in the space around you.
Continue to visualize a golden loop of energy moving through the body,
And a golden cloud surrounding the body.
See yourself fully illuminated in golden light.
Begin to sense the weight of your body once more,
Taking a few more deep breaths to re-energize the body and welcome you home to this physical form.
Begin to invite subtle movements of your body,
Into your fingers and toes,
Rolling out the wrists and ankles,
Maybe sending the arms above head,
Taking a full body stretch.
And as your arms move in the space around you,
Coming back down by your sides,
Once more connecting with this golden light that now surrounds you.
And whenever you're ready,
You can flutter the eyes open.
