This is a short 2 minute guided meditation you can use any time or even multiple times a day. So often we are consumed with our roles, our responsibilities and the many things we strive to do. We forget the fundamental and direct quality of life that is living through us. This practice is an opportunity to pause and feel the aliveness of life within, and to rest and nourish in the simplicity of Being. This meditation has no ending bell so that you may choose to sit as long as you are called to.

Transcript

Open your senses to the space around you.

Just feeling the touch of air on your skin.

The play of light and shadow in the space.

The energy of sound unfolding in all directions.

Gently allow your attention to drop inward to the center of the heart.

Rest here feeling the body breathing.

The heart beating.

The aliveness of this life living through you.

Savor and simply feel this.

Allow this pulse to begin to open wide into this whole body of sensation.

Across the torso,

The arms,

The hips,

The legs.

Up through the crown of the head.

Just rising and falling.

Coming and going.

Just rest in this whole body of sensation.

Just moment to moment to moment.

There's nothing to do.

Nothing to change.

So resting here,

Savor the timeless essence of your being.
