This guided meditation helps you learn how to become the superhero of your own life by turning all your negative thoughts into positive. Instead of imagining those “what if” thoughts, as fear based what if you visualized all the best-case scenario possibilities instead? This meditation helps you do just that and leaves you feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready to embrace the new day ahead.

Hi,

I'm Shauna,

And thank you for joining me today.

I'm going to be guiding you through a superhero meditation.

This will help turn all of those negative thoughts to positive and help give you the courage and confidence to become the superhero of your own life.

So when you're ready,

Let's begin by gently closing your eyes.

Begin to just settle in.

Connecting with your breath,

Allowing all those thoughts to settle.

And let's take one long,

Slow,

Deep breath into your nose and gently release that out through your mouth.

Taking two more deep breaths on your own.

And begin to connect to the silence within,

Getting comfortable with the stillness.

And now gently shift your awareness up to the tip top crown of your head and start to imagine just a wave of relaxation running down from the crown of your head,

All the way through your body,

Starting with your forehead and relaxing the brows,

Finding its way down to the cheekbones,

Allowing those to relax,

And then releasing the tension from your jaw,

Allowing your chin to drop just a little bit further open and continuing to come back to the breath,

Feeling the rise and the fall of your belly as you breathe in and out.

Continuing to relax your shoulders,

Allowing your chest to soften,

Allowing that belly to soften,

Moving it down into the pelvic region,

Allowing your sit bones to follow along.

Let's go a little bit deeper into the surface beneath you,

Allowing your thighs to relax and your knees all the way down to your ankles and your toes,

Letting all the relaxation fill your body.

And let's seal that relaxation in with another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up the lungs and the belly and releasing all that stale air out into the universe,

Starting fresh in this safe,

Quiet,

In this safe,

Quiet space.

And now when you are ready,

I'd like to invite you to shift your awareness to your mind's eye and start to visualize.

If you could be your own superhero,

And you can,

What does your superhero look like?

Begin to paint the picture of your very own superhero to your own life.

What are you wearing?

Does your superhero have a cape,

A costume,

Gloves,

A mask?

It can be anything you want.

This is your superhero.

What color is your superhero?

It can be multiple colors,

Just one color,

Every color of the rainbow.

And continue to breathe in and out and connect with your breath as you start to visualize this superhero.

Visualize this superhero in more and more detail.

And now imagine what is your superpower?

Does your superhero fly?

Psychic powers?

Maybe it's a giant,

Loving and compassionate heart.

It can be any superpower that you want.

And now that you've visualized your superhero,

I invite you to bring your left hand to your heart and your right hand over your left.

And in this space,

Bringing your awareness right there to your heart center,

Breathing in and out,

Connecting with your heart.

And ask yourself,

What is the one challenge or the one goal,

The one thing that you want?

What is it that you want?

One thing.

And once you know that one thing that you want,

Turn this what if sentence into the best possible scenario that could be for this one thing that you want.

What if I actually set out to do this and it was bigger than I could have ever even imagined?

Turn it to the best possible case scenario for this one thing that you want.

The most amazing,

Positive outcome scenario that you could ever imagine.

Breathing into your heart center and breathing out and locking in that positive thought of the best possible outcome of the one thing that you want and giving your heart a little hug as you lock in that positive,

Positive outcome.

And when you're ready,

You can gently release your hands,

Returning to the breath.

And as we close our practice,

I invite you to take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

And as you do that,

I want you to take a moment to think about taking another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and releasing that out through your mouth and turning the corners of your mouth upwards,

Creating a smile on your face and taking with you your superhero and your positive thoughts to recall upon anytime that you need to.

And start to wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes,

Maybe shaking out your arms.

And when you are ready,

I invite you to open your eyes,

Coming back into the room and taking that smile and these positive vibes with you and your superhero throughout your day today.
