Work With Archangel Michael - Bring Hidden Truths To Light

Working with our Angelic team can be a wonderful spiritual gift. One of the Archangels I connect with often is Archangel Michael. He has many beautiful abilities of protection and strength. The one gift that I connect with Michael the most is his ability to bring hidden truths forward to us when we feel in the dark about people or circumstances around us.

Archangel Michael is often depicted in images as carrying a sword. This is the sword of truth that reveals anything that is concealed in the shadows. I share with you in this guided practice how I work with his energy.

Hi,

Thank you so much for joining me today for our talk about how to work with Archangel Michael in bringing hidden truths to light.

I'm Shannon and grateful to have you here today.

Today we'll be working specifically with the energy of Archangel Michael.

First,

I'd like to share with you how I approach working with angelic energy so that you get an idea of my background.

As an Interfaith Spiritual Director and Reiki Master Teacher,

I connect with the energy of the angelic realm from a more spiritual tradition of energy medicine rather than a religious perspective on the Archangels.

If that sounds like something that connects or matches with what you're looking for,

Then we'll move into our practice now.

Archangel Michael has a lot of different gifts that he offers when we connect with his energy and asking for assistance with different aspects of our life.

The one particular gift that we'll be working with today in connection with Archangel Michael is his ability to bring the truth forward in different circumstances or situations where we feel things are hidden from us and this doesn't allow us to always make the full or best choice for ourselves because we feel like there's something not quite right or we're not seeing the full perspective of something.

And when this happens,

We can ask Archangel Michael to come forward to energetically clear the path and bring the truth forward to us so we can make better decisions.

When I connect with Archangel Michael,

There are several things that I notice about his energy.

The color that comes forward when he's present is often a very bright turquoise blue color.

There are a couple of crystals that I work with sometimes in connection to Archangel Michael.

These are not specific just to him,

But these are the ones that I have found that I connect with when working with his energy and the two that I connect with him are amethyst,

Like a purple light purple amethyst stone or turquoise,

That bright blue of the stone.

The energy around Archangel Michael is one of power,

Strength,

Truth,

Justice,

So he has a very balancing but direct energy.

He's often depicted with a sword and the sword is about cutting through the darkness or clearing the path and so the sword or the energy of the sword is to cut away things that are hidden.

Because of the specific work we're doing today with Archangel Michael,

It's not so much a soft and cuddly energy,

So I want you to prepare your mind to know that when we work with Archangel Michael to bring truth forward,

To cut through,

And to balance situations,

The energy is more direct and has a strength behind it.

When Archangel Michael brings truth forward for us,

It is a way of protecting us from going down a path if truths are hidden from us that are going to make us make choices that are not good for us.

So sometimes,

Not always,

But sometimes the truths can be difficult to hear,

Especially if it's around someone that we trust or love,

But we're needing to see the deeper picture behind the scenes,

Maybe that that person or situation isn't presenting to us up front.

Although this can sometimes bring pain to our heart because something's revealed that we weren't expecting,

It's always for our highest good.

I'll give you an example or a story from my own life so that you can connect with what I'm sharing with you and how this practice is both helpful and yet it can bring forward difficult circumstances or challenges based on what truths come forward.

Many years ago,

I was close friends with someone who I cared for,

She cared for me as well,

And we formed a deep friendship for five years.

There were certain things happening in her life that were kind of chaotic,

And yet because we cared about each other,

I wanted to make sure to always be present.

Into the fifth year,

Our friendship,

However,

Became strained or circumstances were creating difficulty in us being able to connect with one another.

At first,

I thought maybe it was something having to do with me.

I felt like the archangels were with me,

And especially Archangel Michael.

Because over the next six months of that fifth year of our friendship,

The truths of what was happening in her life,

The choices she was making,

Became evident to me.

I began to see patterns that I hadn't realized because we had been so close together.

There were addictions that she was going through in her life that was affecting her own life,

But then our life together as friends.

Because I cared about her,

And didn't want to just abandon her,

I kept showing up in ways that I could.

However,

My archangels,

My protectors,

Saw it differently.

The archangels have a higher perspective than what we do here on earth sometimes.

Archangel Michael kept making it harder and more difficult for me to continue to connect with my friend.

It was a painful separation that occurred,

And he made it quite clear that our friendship together was no longer good for me.

During this time,

My friend and I separated,

And I didn't see her for a couple of years.

During that time,

She did heal,

Move out of her addiction,

And move forward with her life.

We didn't remain after that,

Because our own lives took different directions.

However,

We both moved into more of our higher selves,

Even though we weren't together anymore.

So Archangel Michael was there to both protect her,

But also protect me as well.

And I share that story with you,

So you get an idea of the process of working with Archangel Michael,

And of asking for truth to be brought forward to you,

No matter what type of situation you're asking for truth about.

The caveat of this practice is,

If you're not ready,

If your heart is not ready,

If your mind is not ready to know the full truth about something,

Which is totally fine,

Sometimes it takes a while for us to be ready to hear the truth,

Then I would ask you to wait,

To call on Archangel Michael to bring the truth forward.

Archangel Michael will always bring the truth,

If asked to do so.

If you are ready to ask Archangel Michael for his help,

How does the truth come forward to you once you ask for help?

The truths get revealed in many different ways.

Sometimes we might read a story that shows us the backstory behind something that we're needing more information about.

Whether it's a company that we're researching,

Maybe there's a path that we want to go down,

A career path,

But we're not sure.

Archangel Michael might send articles,

Or books,

Or a person who talks about that same career path,

And then through that exploration,

You get more information of discernment that helps you know whether you want to keep continuing in the path that you're going.

If it has to do with a friend,

A family,

A romantic partner,

Things you're not quite sure about,

Things that might feel off,

Or like you don't have all the information.

Sometimes,

Once you ask for the truth from Archangel Michael,

It might be revealed through an email,

Or a text,

Or somebody else who knows that person might share something without even realizing that you've asked that more truth come forward.

And then what is the timing of the truth being revealed to us?

That is a good question.

There is no set time in the angelic realm.

If we ask for assistance on a particular situation,

Circumstance,

Or person,

We might get an answer within a day.

The answer,

Or the truth,

Or more understanding might be revealed in a week,

Or a month,

Sometimes even a year.

There is a divine timing in working with the angelic realm.

They reveal things to us as either we are ready to receive them,

Or the energy around the circumstance is ready to reveal itself to us.

After you ask Archangel Michael for assistance,

Don't set a specific time or date to knowing what comes forward for you.

In this case,

You have to let it go,

Turn it over to Archangel Michael,

And then keep choosing and moving forward with your life as you have been until more answers are revealed to you.

So now let's do a short guided practice in connecting with Archangel Michael and asking for his assistance.

To move into the guided practice,

I'll open it with a poem that specifically calls on the energy of Archangel Michael.

This is written by Katie Carey.

So I'll have you close your eyes,

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Opening your hands and your heart and receiving this poem,

Archangel Michael.

I call Archangel Michael to help me cut the cords,

To release my fears,

To help me with his powerful sword.

I know when he's with me,

Standing in my power,

Helping me create my dreams in this golden blue hour.

He makes me know that I am strong,

Even at times when I feel weak.

I know when he's with me,

I,

I'm ready to speak.

He gives me strength inside to move forward,

Step up,

And become the flow of this angelic cup.

He wants all of us to know he's here for us,

Now and in the future,

Of the power to show people to lead with love,

With open hearts,

Moving beyond fear that might keep us apart.

As we work with Archangel Michael,

The bringer of truth,

To rebuild our lives filled with love,

That it might shine through,

That we are filled with light and we bring this truth from above.

Now in this connection with Archangel Michael,

With your hands open,

Taking a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Imagining that the energy of Archangel Michael,

That beautiful bright blue angelic light,

Surrounds you from your head to your toes,

Creating a beautiful circle of light around you.

Taking a deep breath in and bringing in that brilliant blue light into your body,

Into your lungs,

Bringing truth and beauty.

Now from this connection with yourself and with the energy of Archangel Michael,

Now asking the question that is on your mind,

If you would like to now speak out loud that what you're wanting to know the truth about.

Take this time now to speak your question to Archangel Michael,

Whatever you feel in the dark about.

Take this next moment of silence now,

Now taking a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Now in the next moment of silence,

Imagining that Archangel Michael has taken your question into his energy field,

And as he lifts up this question,

You now receive energy from him to help bring calm,

Strength,

And compassion to yourself as you allow and let go,

And give Archangel Michael the room and space that he will need over the next day,

Week,

Month,

To allow the truth to come forward for you about this person,

Place,

Or circumstance.

So in this next moment of silence,

Just receiving the energy from Archangel Michael,

And taking a deep breath in,

And exhaling,

Bringing your hands together in Anjali Mudra,

Prayer position in front of your chest,

Your heart,

And just bowing your head gently in thanks and gratitude for Archangel Michael and his assistance,

And letting your hands gently come back into your lap,

Opening your eyes.
