I'm Colleen Thomas.

This is Everyday Magic for Ukraine.

Today we ground into purposeful action.

Welcome to the Circle.

Welcome to Everyday Magic for Ukraine,

Where we honor Ukraine and also practice self-care to stay strong as allies.

If you're new here,

Welcome.

I'm really glad you joined us today.

So perhaps you might like to join me in taking a breath.

And let's do another one.

Breathing in and out.

And let's do one more.

And this time I invite you,

When you breathe in,

Really breathe in the fullness of yourself.

Really allow your heart to expand.

Really allow the goodness and the joy that is you.

Allow yourself to breathe in to that self.

And then when you breathe out,

Release anything that is other.

Anything that is not you.

Anything you're ready to let go of.

So breathing in to your full self.

Really,

Really,

Really feeling yourself and now releasing.

That is a really nice breath to do first thing in the morning when we're just greeting the day and finding ourselves.

So the work I would like to invite you to join me in doing today is some deep grounding.

So I invite you to find a tree in your heart.

And what I mean by that is bring yourself to an inner space,

An imagined space where you are close to,

You recognize,

You're able to be with a really strong,

Really amazing tree.

And just let the image come to mind.

Maybe you're in a forest.

Maybe you're in a field.

Maybe you're in your backyard.

And just think of a tree that you know or imagine one.

And just be holding and being in the presence of this tree.

Feel into the energy of the tree.

Feel how its energy extends up into the sky and also down into the earth.

Maybe take a few breaths to see if you can come into alignment with that energy.

You might be facing the tree,

Maybe with your palms on the trunk.

Or maybe you might be sitting with your back leaning against the tree.

Just see what that would feel like to rest there with the tree.

See if you can connect with the tree as a teacher to teach you about grounding.

Let this tree show you wordlessly how to ground.

What does it feel like to try to match the energy of the tree,

To ground like the tree grounds?

When you ground like the tree grounds,

How does your relationship to the tree change to yourself,

To the earth,

And to the tree?

And now let's try something a little bit different.

Let's allow the tree to work with you.

And now let's try something a little bit different.

Let's allow the tree to reflect a bit of our own wisdom to us.

Let's ask the tree to show us what are we here to do.

This might be what are we here to do in our entire life.

It might just be what are we here to do today.

What is our deepest calling today?

See if the tree would be willing to help you answer that question from your own wisdom.

What are you here to do today?

What is your purposeful action today?

What can you ground into that is truly your vibration,

That is truly your truth?

That is truly your vibration,

That is truly your truth,

That is truly your purpose today.

The tree has its purpose,

And you have your purpose.

And just notice what comes up as you ask these questions.

And when you feel like you've got a sense of something,

It could be an image,

It could be a It could be an image,

It could be a word,

It could be just a feeling.

Just sit with it and just feel the vibration of grounding into this energy,

This purpose.

Again,

Mirroring the tree as it grounds,

You ground.

Each of you grounding into your own purpose.

Just really kind of luxuriating and grounding into this knowing.

And see if anything is coming to you about where this needs to go next.

Where this knowing,

This purpose,

This aspect of you that you're grounding into,

What its next steps are.

And if there are next steps that you're seeing,

Just imagine yourself taking those steps.

And now gently,

Gently,

Let's begin to let go of the tree,

Thank the tree.

Just very gently coming back into your space.

Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes,

Taking a breath,

Breathing out.

Maybe remember how strong and resource we can be when we remember to ground deeply into our purpose.

May it be so.

Your energy,

And your heart make all the difference in healing our world.
