I'm Colleen Thomas.

This is Daily Magic for Peace.

Today we will reconnect and center.

Welcome to the circle.

I'm so glad to have you with us today.

And the only thing you need to have with you today is your breath.

And as we arrive,

I invite you to take your seat in the circle,

Knowing that you are in the circle with anybody and everybody who happens to listen to this episode whenever and wherever they listen to it.

To calm the nervous system today,

We're going to place one hand on our heart and one hand on our belly.

Do this to whatever degree this feels comfortable to you.

And once you have your hands there or you're imagining your hands there,

If that's better for you,

Just begin to notice what it feels like.

Do you feel an energetic shift when you place your hands in this position?

Maybe try lifting one or lifting both and seeing what you notice about how the energy is running in your body.

Notice the energetic connections that your palms create when they connect with your heart chakra and your second chakra.

And you might take a few breaths here just to feel into this connection.

Notice how your body responds to this touch.

Does it feel calming?

And does it feel triggering?

How does your body feel about this particular kind of intentional touch right now in this moment?

And as you are sitting here in this circle with all of these beautiful hearts around you,

Sharing this space in the circle with you,

I invite you to really drop into this idea of this circle we're creating with your heart and with your belly and with your whole self to whatever degree that feels good to you.

I welcome you to this circle.

I am so happy to be back with you in this circle.

And my wish is that our work in the world will amplify the good and go out exactly where it is needed.

So feel free to keep your hands where they are.

And the work we're gonna do today is really just this,

Very simple.

We're gonna reconnect and center.

And I invite you to just sort of drop and rest a little more into this moment of sitting here,

Of being with us.

Maybe allow your breath to deepen if it wants to.

Sometimes just by noticing our breathing,

Our breath will grow deeper.

Things like to be noticed.

Our hearts like to be noticed.

Our second chakras like to be noticed.

Community likes to be noticed.

Our bodies love to be noticed.

Our breath likes to be noticed.

If there's anything in your mind that you were thinking about before we got together or you don't wanna forget to do later,

See if you can create a little safe place to put it.

Or maybe a helper guide or angel or deity could hold it for you for another few minutes while we're together.

So you don't lose it,

Because it's important,

Whatever it is.

And if having your eyes relaxed or closed is difficult,

Maybe just look around and see what it's like to look at the objects around you or the people around you or the things around you from a calm place,

From a centered place,

A slow place,

A this now moment kind of place.

And we're gonna begin to transfer back out of this space,

But very slowly,

Very thoughtfully,

And very carefully.

Feel your palms on your body,

If they're on your body.

Maybe say a few words of gratitude to your body for supporting you so beautifully and being such an ally to you.

And begin to notice what you're sitting on or standing on or lying on.

Begin to see where you are in space and time and bring yourself back to the present moment.

And if you set anything aside to deal with later,

Consider if you'd like to pick that back up and how you'd like to hold it.

I'm grateful to you for spending these few minutes with me in the present moment in this circle.

I'm grateful for all that you bring the world with your unique and beautiful heart.

And I dedicate our time together for peace in our own hearts and peace in this world we share.

May it be so.

Thank you so much for being with us today.

Your presence,

Your energy,

And your heart make all the difference in healing our world.

Remember to breathe today,

Breathe and expand.
