Welcome.

Today is a new day and now it's time to prepare your mind and body to help you enjoy what's to come.

Remember you can pause this meditation whenever you like.

Take a big breath in and out.

Please stand up as tall as you can.

Raise your arms above your head and look up.

Try to reach as high as you can for three seconds.

Count with me.

One,

Two,

Three.

Very good.

Now remain standing and slowly try to touch your toes comfortably and relax for three seconds.

Count with me.

One,

Two,

Three.

Good.

Now please find a comfortable place to sit up tall and close your eyes.

Take a big breath in and out.

Remember for a moment how lucky you are to be born a person and to be born at the best time to be alive because you could easily have never been born at all.

Meaning every morning you rise is a reason to celebrate.

Take a big breath in and out.

Together let's get curious and think about how much you can achieve before bedtime.

Please repeat after me and try to answer.

What are two things I must do today?

What are two things I must do today?

Maybe it's asking more questions in school so that you understand your teachers better or doing your homework and writing down your questions to ask your teachers so that you understand better for tomorrow.

Take another big breath in and out.

Next please repeat after me and try to answer.

What are three things I want to do today?

What are three things I want to do today?

Maybe it's making a game out of helping your parents with dinner so that you can learn how to cook.

Maybe it's playing with friends or learning something interesting and fun on YouTube with your parents to show the rest of your family and friends.

Take a big breath in and out.

Please write down the things you must do and the things you want to do either on your phone or on a paper calendar in your bedroom and cross them off at the end of the day so that you can see your progress.

Because progress feels good and you deserve to feel good too.

Take another big breath in and out.

Finally it's time to relax and say our thank yous to remind us to appreciate life.

Are you ready?

Very quietly repeat after me.

Thank you for my home that gives me a place to live.

Thank you for the food I eat that makes me feel great.

Thank you for my friends,

My family,

And my teachers who care for me.

Thank you for my parents who love me.

Thank you for my wonderful life.

Take one last big breath in and out and as you slowly open your eyes let me leave you with these words.

It's a great day to be alive.

Good morning.

Meet your Teacher
