Hello and welcome to this meditation.
My name is Silomon.
I'll be guiding you today.
More people than ever are looking to get some sort of break,
Some way to relax.
So this one is made specifically for beginners.
So sit back,
Relax,
And begin to take a few deep breaths.
A deep inhale and a deep exhale.
There are many different kinds of meditation.
You could be doing some of them without even realizing it.
For right now,
We'll work with a simple exercise to help you relax and let go of stress.
It's completely normal if you still have thoughts floating around in your mind.
It's okay if they continue throughout the meditation.
You're going to take a moment to become conscious of all the thoughts floating around without judgment of what's good or bad.
Accept each one and observe.
Hear it float away and disappear.
Anytime you notice your mind wander,
Just accept it,
Breathe,
And return to seeing them float away.
If it helps,
You can imagine any thoughts like leaves floating down a river.
Could be clouds floating across the sky.
You could see them as footprints in the sand and your breath like the waves coming and going.
Constantly wash them away.
Work with whatever helps you the most.
Anytime your mind wanders,
Accept it,
Forgive and love yourself,
And return to the activity of watching and observing your thoughts floating in and out.
Take a moment to focus on your body.
Become aware of the air that you're breathing.
What does it feel like when the oxygen flows through your body?
Imagine every muscle,
An atom,
Absorbing this oxygen.
They become refreshed,
Helping you to relax more and more.
As you exhale,
Feel any stress,
Tension,
Anxiety leaving your body.
What does it feel like to be refreshed?
To clear away the stress and anxiety.
This meditation is almost over,
But before we end,
Take a moment to send gratitude to yourself for trying out this meditation and seeing if it would work for you.
If it does,
Continue to do this and each time it will be more effective.
Anytime you wish to try again,
I'll be here.
So come back to the moment,
The space that your body is in.
Feel all of your senses returning.
Wiggle your toes and fingers or move your body in whatever way makes you feel good.
Gently open your eyes.
I'm wishing you all much love and many blessings.
Have a great day and namaste.
