This meditation will assist you in reconnecting with your spirituality and the Divine.

Begin by getting comfortable either sitting up with your back straight or by lying down with your arms by your sides.

Become aware of the fact that you are breathing.

Notice your lungs as they fill and deflate.

Notice your chest as it rises and falls.

Continue to follow your breath as you naturally begin to relax.

Inhale peace and exhale tension.

Allow yourself to acknowledge and let go of any thoughts that you are currently having.

Imagine them like leaves floating down the river as they begin to disappear.

Anytime you notice your mind wandering,

Just return to your breath.

And now ask that the Divine join you in this meditation.

If you are feeling uncomfortable or guilty for not connecting with the Divine for a while,

Just remember that the Divine is all loving and all compassionate.

And by simply calling in the Divine,

You will have Divine's assistance.

And now imagine yourself reading your spiritual autobiography,

Your spiritual story to the Divine.

Ask that your relationship be renewed.

Ask for Divine's guidance in re-establishing your connection.

Continue to sit quietly and meditate on this happening,

On you reconnecting with the Divine.

If you are comfortable,

Ask for help in returning to the right spiritual path for your highest good.

Allow yourself a few moments to meditate on this happening.

Now open your heart to the idea of joining or rejoining a spiritual community.

Give thanks and gratitude to the Divine for being with you in this meditation.

Give yourself thanks and gratitude for doing this meditation.

Notice if you feel any difference in your mind.

Notice if you feel any different now than when we first began the meditation.

And now return to your breath.

Follow it through your inhales and your exhales.

Allow your breath to bring you back to the room,

To bring you back to this physical world.

And at your own pace,

You can open up your eyes.
