This is not about fixing yourself, it's about remembering your power, releasing what's no longer needed, and aligning with the version of you that’s already on the way. Hello,

This is Courtney,

Also known as Self Care Creature,

And right now I invite you into a meditation for becoming who you need to be.

Begin to become fully present with yourself.

Sit comfortably,

Feel your feet on the floor or wiggle your toes,

Become aware of where your hands and arms are resting.

Perhaps begin to close your eyes or lower them and take a deep breath,

Breathing in through your nose and exhaling softly through your mouth.

Feel the weight of your body settle into the earth beneath you.

Feel the support that already exists for you,

Holding you in this moment.

Check in with the jaw,

Can you create some slack for the jaw?

Is it possible to unlatch the tongue?

To feel the eyes settle in their sockets,

Let that brow line unfurrow,

Finding that neutral space of your face and taking another deep breath in,

Filling the lungs,

Expanding your chest and letting it go.

Now bring your awareness to your center.

If comfortable,

You might place a hand on your heart,

A hand on your belly.

This is the place inside you that has always known who you are becoming.

Breathe into this body awareness,

Becoming aware of your center place,

This calm center that exists within you at all times,

Not always easy to access,

But simple in the practice and here you are doing it now.

This is the part of you that whispers,

This way forward,

This way forward.

Take a few more breaths here.

Perhaps imagining yourself in one of your favorite places in nature.

Take in these surroundings.

Notice any wind in the air,

The sound of any animals present and begin to become aware that you are standing at a threshold,

A doorway between who you have been and who you are stepping into.

The version of you that got you here has been powerful,

Resourceful,

Resilient.

Take a few breaths right here in this nature setting to truly honor who you have been.

Feel gratitude for them,

For this version of yourself.

They have carried you through lessons,

Through trials,

Through growth that once felt impossible.

Nice,

Deep,

Full inhale and a complete exhale.

A couple more breaths just like that,

Your own rhythm,

Your own timing,

Honoring who you have been and acknowledging that it is now time to step forward.

You might actually envision yourself stepping forward.

You might take a step in this visualization,

Go to a different place in nature in the mind's eye.

Whatever it is,

Take a breath here and repeat to yourself either in your mind or aloud,

I am willing to outgrow myself so I may be who I need.

I am willing to outgrow myself so I can be who I need.

I am willing to outgrow myself so I can be who I need.

Feel the energy of these words settle into your bones.

Continuing to breathe.

Feeling yourself lightly held however you are seated here.

And I invite you to take a moment to visualize yourself six months from right now.

What is that month six months in the future?

It's only six months from now.

Take a breath and bring to mind yourself one year from now.

What season is that?

Imagine yourself standing in this exact place,

The season one year from now.

And finally,

Envision five years from now if that is possible.

Notice again the same season,

But what is the year in five years?

And just breathing into that it's okay if it feels incomprehensible at this time.

Just lightly bringing to mind that version of yourself.

See each version of yourself who has fully stepped into their power.

Who has integrated wisdom.

Who moves with clarity,

Purpose,

And ease.

What do they look like?

Breathing here,

Taking in possibly this visualization,

Seeing yourself,

This version of yourself right here in front of you.

Taking in another breath.

How do you carry yourself?

How does this version of you carry themselves?

Notice their energy,

Their posture,

Their facial expressions.

Breathing into this visualization.

And what might they know deep within their being that you now are just beginning to understand?

Drawing in another breath here.

And coming back to this version of yourself that is only six months in the future.

Name the month that is six months in the future.

Take a breath in and feel their presence merging with yours right here,

Right now.

This future version of you is not separate.

They exist within you already,

Waiting for you to say yes.

Let this version of you guide you now.

Can you see them in your mind's eye?

If comfortable,

Possibly holding their hands or placing a hand on their shoulder or letting them touch you as you're comfortable.

What do they ask you to let go of?

What old patterns,

Stories,

Or beliefs are ready to be shed?

Breathe deeply here.

And as you exhale,

Imagine yourself releasing them.

Feel them dissolve,

Clearing space.

Clearing space for who you desire yourself to be.

Clearing space to believe in your own becoming.

And now what do they invite you to embrace?

What new habits,

Perspectives,

And actions are calling to you?

As you continue to breathe here with every inhale,

Breathe in the energy of these things.

Feel yourself shifting into them,

Embodying them with ease.

What if you could shift into and embody this with ease?

You are already becoming.

You are already arriving.

Take a few final deep breaths here.

As you inhale,

Can you feel the belly,

Ribs,

Heart space,

Maybe back of shoulder blades expand?

Allow this energy to settle into your body.

Grounding you in the truth that this transformation is unfolding for you.

It does not have to be forced.

It does not have to be rushed.

Can you trust that you are moving forward in perfect timing?

Just like the past version of you that moved through the growth that felt impossible.

Moving through that mystery of not knowing but slowly and surely taking one step in front of the other.

You are capable of this.

It is already happening.

Breathe into that sensation of knowing in your own body right now.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to this present moment.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Maybe your nose.

Feel the solid ground beneath you.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

I invite you to take pen to paper,

Write a couple notes down of anything that arose here.

And remember,

You are here.

You are ready.

You are becoming.
