Hello there.
My name is Chris and I welcome you to this guided meditation practice.
You could be anywhere right now but you have chosen to spend your next precious moments with me.
So from the bottom of my heart,
I just want to say thank you.
First,
Bring yourself to a comfortable position.
Whether standing,
Seated,
Or lying down,
Feel free to adjust your body as much as you need to.
Keep your head reaching above you as you softly elongate your spine.
Gently breathe into any areas of tension.
And if you feel comfortable and are able to do so right now,
I invite you to softly gaze just ahead of you or gently close your eyes,
Whichever feels easier.
I want you to feel as supported and relaxed in this moment as you can be.
Your choices are endless.
Take a few deep cleansing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Feeling your belly rise and fall with each breath.
Thought199 Through the breath of the great late poet Maya Angelou,
Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn't know before you learned it.
Take one more breath in through your nose and sigh it all the way out through your mouth.
Now,
Allow your breath to return to its normal,
Natural state and see if you can shift your focus to the area around your heart.
Imagine a green light glowing in this area with each breath,
With the light expanding on the inhales and then slightly retracting on the exhales.
Watch as this beautiful green light surrounding your heart glows.
This area is your heart chakra,
The epicenter of all things love and compassion.
Here we learn that before we can heal others,
We must ensure we have first acknowledged the healing taking place within ourselves.
See if you can breathe deeper into your heart chakra,
Maybe by expanding and opening the chest to invite this healing.
Now,
Allow the green light to expand with each exhale,
Radiating outwards to completely envelop your beautiful body.
See and feel the green light gradually hug every inch of your being,
Surrounding you with the pure love and compassion you always deserve.
Observe the glow slowly expanding from your heart out towards other areas of your body.
Ahh.
.
.
Ahh.
.
.
AAAAA Kez soul Grace Now,
See the green light very slowly return to the heart,
Gradually unraveling like the sweetest,
Softest cloth you've ever felt,
Retracting up from your back,
Over your shoulders,
Down to your neck,
Up from your knees and toes and thighs,
Continuing to recede down your chest and up from your navel to meet back at your heart where the glow began.
Now the green light has returned to the sweet,
Subtle glow we saw at the beginning when we first took notice of the heart chakra,
Gently expanding on the inhales and retracting on the exhales.
Softly breathe into this space.
Sometimes we forget that this loving hug resides inside of all of us and is always available whenever we need a gentle reminder that we are safe,
Loved and supported.
Feel free to place a hand over your heart and repeat after me,
Allowing the vibrations of your words to implant themselves deeply into your heart as a reminder.
I am safe.
I am loved.
I open my heart to forgiveness and compassion for myself.
Again.
I am safe.
I am loved.
I open my heart to forgiveness and compassion for myself.
Feel free to release your hand from your heart and take one last deep breath to end the practice.
Open through your nose and sigh it all the way out through your mouth.
You can begin to bring awareness back into your body.
Wiggle fingers and toes,
Slowly move your head from side to side.
Maybe place your hands together,
Palms touching and gently pressing on your chest at the heart center,
Then bowing your head as a gesture of gratitude for today's practice.
Take care of this space.
May you carry this love and compassion throughout your day or night.
Thank you for joining me.
Namaste.
Ase.
And so it is,
Dear one.
And so it is.
