Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.
Rumi Welcome to this meditation practice.
I invite you to sit comfortably.
Make sure you will not be disturbed for the duration of this practice.
Relax your hands on your thighs or knees.
Elongate your spine,
Filling the crown of your head reaching above.
And gradually close your eyes.
We'll begin with a few deep cleansing inhales and exhales.
Inhale fully into the lungs.
And then slowly exhale,
Releasing all the air from your lungs.
As you inhale,
Invite awareness.
And as you exhale,
Relax and soften,
Releasing what does not serve you in this moment.
Inhale awareness,
Noticing sensations within and around you.
Exhale to relax and soften.
Let's try shifting our attention and focus to certain areas of the body.
Maybe these are areas that are experiencing some energetic blockages.
Let's see if we can use our breath to guide these areas back into alignment.
As we journey through these areas with our gentle,
Loving breaths,
Imagine a white light glowing in those areas,
Illuminating with purposeful intentions.
Think of your inhales and exhales as cleansing and realigning those areas back into balance.
Let's start at the crown.
First,
Bring your hands up and gently place them on or just above the top of your head.
Breathe with focused awareness on this area,
Imagining the cleansing glowing white light.
And repeat after me.
I think good things.
Now imagine the white light traveling as you slowly and consciously move your hands down to cover your eyes.
Breathe and repeat after me.
I see good things.
Place your hands over your ears.
Inhale and exhale the illuminating white light.
Repeat after me.
I hear good things.
Now move your awareness down and place one hand over the mouth area and the other over the throat area.
Breathe and repeat after me.
I speak good things.
Gradually move to place one hand over your heart and the other on your belly.
Take a moment to breathe the white light into these areas.
Repeat after me.
I feel good things.
Take both hands and place them one over the other below the belly,
Hovering over the pelvic region at the base of the spine.
Breathe into this area and repeat after me.
I am good things.
Now,
Take a gentle,
Deep breath in through the nose and open mouth sight all the way out through the mouth,
Allowing any remaining trapped tensions to be freed from your healing body.
Imagine with each breath the white light expanding further throughout your body.
And as it begins to grow,
Imagine the white light whirling out away from you,
Up towards the sky to form a unified,
Beautiful,
Soft cloud.
May you release what no longer serves you into this cloud.
Now,
Watch the cloud.
Now watch the clouds slowly drift away as it reveals a magnificent,
Grand sun.
Have you created that?
Notice the colors of your sun.
If it's glowing.
If it emits a warm sensation.
Notice if anything likes to fly by your sun.
Maybe birds.
Butterflies.
Balloons.
Reflect on how it makes you feel in this moment.
How it makes you feel in this moment?
When you're ready,
Take a gentle loving stretch up towards the sun as you begin to bring awareness back into your body.
Begin to gently move about welcoming flowing positive energy into your body.
Take one final deep breath in through the nose and out through your nose or mouth and slowly open your eyes.
Thank you for joining me.
Namaste.
Ashe and so it is,
Dear one,
And so it is.
