Hello my friends,
This meditation is based upon a method I developed called the FARMS method.
An acronym which stands for Facilitation of Accommodating Recommendations for Meditation.
Okay,
Let's begin.
FARM 1.
Be Still.
The first farm is a no pressure invitation to close your eyes and be comfortable in a position that promotes focus,
Calm and serenity for you.
Often we can be so consumed with productivity that we forget to make time and give ourselves space and grace to just be.
Contemplative practice is about embracing that space and that grace we can so desperately need,
Desperately need,
Even if we don't know we need it.
Be Still.
FARM 2.
No Judgment.
We can have a tendency to be overly critical,
Especially of ourselves.
Meditation urges us to let our criticisms of self and others and even our situations cease to exist.
This second farm exists to ease us gently into an ever more relaxed state.
Let all your tensions go and just be without judgment.
No Judgment.
FARM 3.
Embrace a heart and mindset of peace and loving kindness.
I do believe that if the other two farms are observed,
The third will follow naturally.
However,
I also feel it is such an important thing to be mindful of and intentional in that it warrants being said,
Even if redundant.
