Transcript

Hello my friends and welcome to today's meditation on this fourth day of Lent.

For this meditation we're going to create space and hold the space to simply be still.

To do so,

I invite you to close your eyes if it's safe and helpful to do so.

So,

As we did on the first day of Lent,

Let's observe that with this simple act of closing our eyes,

Our mind naturally gets quieter,

Our spirit becomes calm and still,

And even our heart rate slows down.

Relax your body in a comfortable position you can remain in for a few minutes and feel yourself becoming ever more still.

Be still and know the I am.

Be still and know the love of Yahweh.

Be still and know the I am is one.

The I am is love.

If you have a distracting thought,

Simply see it,

Let it go,

Return to the present,

The presence of God,

And be still.

Be still.

In this stillness is where we find presence,

The presence of God.

Thank you for being still with me today my friends.

As you go about your day today,

I encourage you to take a few moments to simply be still.

May grace and peace,

Light and love be with you.

A brief meditation to make space for stillness and calm. This time created a fertile moment for peace and acceptance of being present with what is.
