Hello my dear friends,
Today is our 42nd meditation in our Lent series.
As you begin to quiet your mind,
I invite you to take a deep breath and imagine yourself in the temple listening to Yeshua teach during his last week of life.
Close your eyes if it's safe and helpful to do so.
For this meditation,
It's particularly important to let go of self-judgment as we'll be examining our own hearts,
Minds,
And lives as part of today's practice.
Now imagine you are in the temple listening to Yeshua teach.
Notice the passion and conviction in Yeshua's voice as he critiques the hypocrisy and legalism rampant in the religious leaders of the time.
Yeshua saw through the facade of those who claimed to be righteous and called them out on their hypocrisy.
He knew that their obsession with the letter of the law was preventing them from truly connecting with God and living a life of love and compassion,
And that they were not being true to themselves.
Reflect on how this message applies to your own life.
Are there areas where you have become too focused on rules and regulations at the expense of genuine connection with others and with the divine?
Are there ways in which you can embody Yeshua's teaching of love and compassion rather than getting bogged down in rules and regulations and legalism?
Take a deep breath in and allow these questions to settle into your heart.
As you exhale,
Release any negative thoughts or feelings that may be holding you back.
Let Yeshua's teachings guide you towards a deeper sense of connection with yourself,
With others,
And with the divine.
Remember that love and compassion are the keys to true spirituality,
And let these values be your guiding light.
Thank you for meditating with me today,
My dear friends.
May grace and peace,
Light and love,
Be your guiding light,
And may they be with you.
