This is a quick breathing meditation. This is great to counter anxiety or stress as well as to get grounded. In this meditation we do a counting exercise breathing in and out for 4, then 5 and going up to a in count and out count of 8.

Welcome to meditation.

Allow yourself a couple moments just to settle in,

To sit,

To lay,

Make any adjustments to your body that you need to,

To bring in a little more comfort.

Let's allow a moment of silence as we let our bodies deeply settle in.

Feel the heaviness in the body.

Feel the bones dropping into the body.

This is going to be a more brief meditation.

It is very helpful for stress and anxiety.

We're going to do some breathing activities and so I'm going to count for you.

We'll begin with an inhale of four,

An exhale of four,

And we'll work our way up to eight.

Prepare your body as we inhale,

Just letting the breath settle in between.
