We're gonna do a visualization together to help you reconnect to your core values.
Take a comfortable position.
You can either sit down or lie down.
Take a position that feels relaxed yet allows you to stay alert.
Come to stillness.
Close your eyes.
Feel yourself sitting here right now,
In this space,
In this moment.
What do you hear?
Do you hear sounds or stillness?
How do you feel?
Are any sensations or emotions present?
Notice what's going on internally without adding any judgments.
It is how it is and it can stay the same.
No need to change anything about it.
And now bring your attention to your past experiences.
I want you to go back to a moment of the past,
Either recent or long ago.
A moment that matters.
A moment that's really important to you,
That you feel grateful for.
It can be a big milestone in your life but it can just as well be a very common,
Very day-to-day experience.
Curiously notice which memories pop up for you.
Only choose one.
Choose this one moment that feels really precious to you right now and relive that moment.
Place yourself back in that scene.
You're there now.
Where are you?
What do you see?
Look around you and really notice the environment.
What do you hear?
Is anyone with you or are you alone?
What are you doing?
Relive the moment.
It's happening right now.
Activate all of your senses and really notice how does your body respond?
Where does this memory live in your body?
What energy does it awaken in your body?
Zoom in to those sensations.
Feel this moment happening once more and feel the sensations in your body once more.
Make them even bigger and you can let the image fade while staying connected to that feeling,
To those sensations.
Really allow yourself to feel everything.
Often important moments can give us a mix of emotions.
We can feel happy but maybe even sad or anxious but also really excited.
Whatever it is,
Take it all in.
Come back into this space,
This moment,
The place where you're sitting right now.
Feel the contact with the chair or the floor,
The cushion,
Your clothes,
Your breath.
Maybe there's still some sensations in your body.
Stay present with them as you count three breaths and really keep close attention to your breath and whatever bodily sensations are still present from the memory.
You can breathe a bit deeper if it feels nice and then it's time to bring your attention to the future.
I want you to think and visualize a desired moment in your future.
Something you deeply,
Deeply wish for.
You can go past what you think is realistic.
Allow yourself to dream.
Dream big if you'd like and really focus on what you truly want.
What is the thing that you wish for most right now?
The one thing that is of most importance to you and place yourself in that scene.
Be very specific.
Where are you?
What do you see?
Look around you.
Look around the room or the space.
Take the environment in with all your senses.
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
What's happening?
Who's with you?
Live that moment.
It's happening right now.
It's here.
You've made it all the way into this moment.
Enjoy it.
Celebrate it.
Feel it happening.
What do you feel in your body?
Where do you feel it?
Allow yourself to feel it all.
Feel the joy.
Feel the gratitude.
Feel the abundance.
Feel everything.
Feel it all and make it even bigger.
Don't hold back.
Allow yourself to feel it and breathe with it.
You deserve this moment.
You deserve your life to go into any direction that you want.
You can let the images fade while staying connected to the feelings they evoked.
Come back to the space that you're sitting in.
Activate your senses once more.
Feel the contact with the floor,
The cushion or the chair beneath you.
Feel the breath moving and feel whatever sensations are still present for you.
Ask yourself the question,
What does this tell me about what matters to me most in this life?
What do I care about most?
Don't overthink it.
Simply watch and notice what shows up.
What were those moments about?
It's not a coincidence that these specific moments showed up for you.
Why is that?
Reconnect to your breath whilst being connected to those things that matter to you most in life and then slowly you can open your eyes.
You can stretch out or do whatever feels good to you right now and it could be good to take some time to reflect on what showed up for you today and what does this tell you in terms of what matters most.
It could be a good idea to journal about this right now whilst you're still connected to those feelings that you experienced.
It can be a very powerful way to really connect to your core values.
