Hello,
Welcome back.
I'm Sarah,
A somatic facilitator and coach,
Here to help you build nervous system resilience so you can live up to your fullest potential with ease and confidence.
I'll be guiding you through meditation.
Breath work.
Visualization and deep rest so that you can explore the pause between where you've been and where you're going.
Welcome to liminal space.
Today I will be guiding you through a visualization for the times you need reminding to trust your inner tuition.
Your inner wisdom.
So start settling into the surface beneath you.
There is nothing to do.
And there is nowhere to be.
No expectations are required.
Just invite yourself to be the most present you felt all day or even all week.
Let your body be supported as the full weight of it is held by the earth.
And as you rest here.
Let your imagination start to ignite.
You are standing at the edge of a wide open landscape.
The air is still.
The ground beneath you is steady.
And ahead of you,
The greenery stretches far into the distance.
Rolling hills,
Blue skies,
Paths weaving gently in different directions.
Some clear for a short distance before disappearing.
And others fading into mist almost immediately.
And automatically your mind begins to search which way is right.
Which way leads to where I need to go.
Which path guarantees the outcome I hope for.
There is a quiet urgency in this searching.
A familiar urge to know before you move.
To be 100% sure before you begin.
And as you stand there.
Something appears in your hands.
And relief starts to wash over you as you open it quickly.
You stop scanning for where you are.
Where this leads to what comes next.
But something doesn't quite align.
The river on the map doesn't match the river you see.
The paths are different,
The landscape outdated,
As though it belongs to somewhere else.
You turn it slightly trying to make it fit,
Looking for this synchronicity.
But the more you look.
The less certain it becomes.
You slowly begin to realise the map is not helping you here.
It cannot account for this moment,
This living,
Changing landscape.
Disappointingly you lower it slightly,
Still hoping that it will work.
And in that space between wanting and knowing You notice something beside you.
A small compass resting on a stone.
So you pick it up.
The needle moves gently.
And then settles.
Not pointing toward a destination.
But responding to something a little closer.
Something more felt.
Something more immediate.
And you pause,
Still holding both.
The map in one hand,
Compass in the other.
And you realise something uncomfortable.
The map is asking you to trust the route.
The compass is asking you to trust yourself.
Slowly your grip softens on the mat.
Not dropping it,
Just loosening it.
And then you begin to walk.
Not because you are certain,
But because something in you is willing to respond to now.
To this moment.
One step.
Than another.
And the compass still rests quietly in your hands.
Not pulling or pushing.
But orienting you in this very moment.
The ground beneath your feet feels real.
The air moves gently across your skin.
And with each step.
Something begins to soften.
The need to know everything ahead.
The need to guarantee the outcome.
The need to get it right before beginning.
All of that,
Everything attached to those thoughts,
Loosens slightly.
Not disappears,
Just becomes less urgent.
And as you continue to walk.
.
.
He still glances at the map sometimes.
Old habits.
Old seeking.
But it no longer feels like the truth.
Only information.
And information alone is not enough to walk a living path.
And after some time,
You reach a place where the land opens wide again.
It's still and quiet.
So you pause.
Feel present.
Just being.
Just existing.
And you notice something subtle.
The compass is steady in your hands.
Not because the path was revealed.
But because you are here.
Because you are listening.
You are willing to meet yourself exactly where you are.
And slowly.
You understand something not with your mind.
It with your body.
Feel that intuition from within.
The compass is asking you to stay connected.
To stay present.
To stay responsive to what is real right now.
To meet yourself exactly where you are.
To keep returning to yourself again and again.
To trust yourself.
You place the map down.
Not discarded,
Just no longer needed.
And in that moment,
Something settles.
Not certainty,
But trust.
The kind that lives in the body.
In the breath.
In your intuition.
So take a moment here.
Feeling the ground beneath you.
The vast spaciousness around you.
Quiet steadiness within you.
And when you are ready.
Begin to bring your awareness back to this very present moment.
And the real environment around you.
Invite your senses to awaken as you feel the texture of the surface beneath you.
The temperature of the air touching your skin.
Your breath gradually starting to deepen.
Carry this knowing with you.
Not a certainty about where you are going.
But as a trust in your ability to meet it.
If you enjoyed this.
Please share it with someone you know.
Rest well,
And I'll see you next week.
