Guided Shamanic Journey For Clarity

The following guided shamanic journey is created to help you relax and gain greater clarity around a current situation. The practice begins with a short, gentle relaxation/visualization technique and a soft heart drum beat is present throughout. During the journey, you will also have a moment to set an intention or pose a question or, you can simply allow yourself to be carried into a deep relaxed state. I hope you enjoy it.

Before we begin,

First of all just get yourself into a nice comfortable position,

Softening the body and notice the weight of the spine,

The shoulders,

The hips and allow the points that are touching the surface beneath you to become heavy and relaxed.

Just become aware of the front body,

The rise and fall of the chest,

The abdomen,

Sense the lightness as you inhale and exhale.

Soften the arms,

The hands,

The fingers,

Soften the legs,

The ankles,

The feet and then just bring your awareness very slowly to a point between the eyebrows,

The third eye point and imagine that at that point gather threads of breath from all parts of the body as if they're like cords of light stretching from every point within the inner and outer surface of the body.

Feel them drawing up to that central point between the eyebrows and then from the crown of the head,

Just above the crown,

Imagine that there flows a beam of white light and this beam of light connects you to your higher self,

To the wisdom of those that came before you and those here to guide you on the journey.

Now in your imagination,

It's likely to imagine that you're going to walk towards the door and at the side of you that you have your spirit animal,

Your power animal here to accompany you on the journey.

At the door,

Your hand reaches for the handle,

You open the door and the doorway is flooded with midday sunlight.

Ahead,

You see a big open meadow full of wildflowers in bloom.

You step onto a path of cut grass that runs through the centre.

It feels cool and soft upon the soles of your feet.

Your hands reach to the sides of you,

Stretching to touch the petals of the flowers that gently sway in the breeze.

You hear the faint buzz of insects and birds flying overhead.

You consider the intention for your journey or the answer you would like to receive.

Your power animal follows you as you walk along the path.

You take in the smells,

The sounds and the feeling of relaxation within the body.

Slowly,

You walk.

Ahead,

You see the big great tree of life and a figure stands in front,

Beckoning you to come closer.

You walk towards them.

As you draw closer,

They reach out with both arms to welcome you.

You take a deep inhale and in their arms you embrace.

You then turn towards another pathway that leads away from one side of the tree.

The path follows a woodland,

Leaves and branches hanging overhead.

The dappled light covers the surface of the soil beneath your feet and you and your spirit guide and your power animal walk together through the woods.

Ahead of you,

You see an opening and a large circle of stones within the centre.

As you draw closer,

You sense the warmth emitted from the great fire within the stones.

Slowly,

You walk,

Your intention clearly fixed within your mind.

You approach the circle,

Your guides at either side of you.

It is here,

Whilst looking into the centre of the fire,

You ask for your answer to be revealed.

On receiving your answer,

You turn to your guides and thank them and slowly turn around to return back through the woodland.

You wave farewell to your guides and any others that are present at this time and you begin the journey to the great tree.

At the tree,

You turn and make your way back through the meadow and then through the meadow to the door from which you came.

Your hand reaches for the handle,

It turns.

You enter and find yourself in the space where you began.

Slowly,

You begin to bring awareness back into the physical body.

First rotating the hands,

The wrists,

The feet and the ankles.

Then taking a deep inhale into the chest,

Filling the abdomen with the breath,

You sense your presence back upon the surface where you are.

And then when you feel ready,

Take a moment to slowly open your eyes.
