Welcome to a calm space.
I invite you to find a comfortable seated or lying down position,
Whichever calls to you,
Honoring the needs of your body.
So that the mind can be a fine point of focus during this practice.
And once you feel comfortable drawing awareness to internal sensations,
Maybe you can feel tightness around the shoulders or neck,
Connecting with the body.
There's no room for judgment here.
Let's accept and allow as we draw our awareness through each body part.
Noting any tension or any stress.
Accepting and allowing as you breathe and connect deeper.
Not trying to make any particular sensation different,
But accepting it as is.
Allowing the sensation to be there and breathing into it.
I invite you to be in the now.
Experiencing this moment and all it has to offer.
Breathing in,
I know that I am breathing in.
Breathing out,
I know that I am breathing out.
I am aware of my body expanding with my inhale.
I am aware of my body deflating with the exhale.
Breathing in,
I know that I am breathing in.
Breathing out,
I know that I am breathing out.
All awareness on the breath.
Allowing the breath to be an anchor to the present moment.
For any time the mind wanders,
Bring it back,
Focusing on the breath,
Connecting to the present moment.
For the breath smooths the hard edges of our thoughts.
Allowing the breath to free all thoughts and worries that no longer serve you.
Inhaling into spaces that need it most.
Exhaling,
Allowing the breath to move it through.
And now bringing the hands to the heart space and low belly,
If this is comfortable to you.
Be repeating to yourself,
I am safe.
I am grounded.
Feeling the support beneath your body.
Feeling gravity holding you,
Supporting you.
And surrendering to the surface beneath your body.
Just a little more.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
Breathing into these feelings of security and wholeness.
What I can control,
I will change.
And what I can't control,
I will release to my higher powers.
Knowing that I am capable of great and amazing things.
Knowing that I am supported more than I may believe.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
Know at any point throughout your day you can return to this place.
By bringing awareness back to the breath and focusing on sensation within the body.
Now gently wiggling into fingers and toes.
Bringing sensation back to the body.
And as we begin to open our eyes and return to our daily lives.
Let's take with us these feelings of security,
Safety,
And calm.
So that we can act from a place of consciousness and mindfulness.
Rather than out of habit and impulse.
The peace is always there.
And with this I wish you a beautiful day.
Namaste my dear friend.
Thank you.
