Hi,
I'm Sarah Blondin and welcome to today's daily insight.
Today's practice will be focused on feeding the heart and waking the most deeply caring aspect of you.
It can be useful when you're feeling trapped inside your pain and are wishing to return to a sense of peace.
I wish you a restorative practice.
We easily get swept away by life and the ever-changing currents of it.
When pain and anguish or restlessness and dissatisfaction take root,
It splays out within us,
Taking over body,
Mind and psyche and causes us to suffer an amnesia of the spirit.
We forget how easy it can be to lean ourselves toward goodness again.
We forget we have agency and a choice in the matter.
And most devastatingly,
When we are caught in our pain,
We forget how deeply we care for our lives,
The people in it and this world.
Never will our lives only be one way.
Both freedom and suffering will forever coexist.
So you must,
If wanting to find freedom from your hardship,
Be willing to lean yourself into the light each time you are aware of the option.
Close your eyes now.
Finding rest at the edge of your busy mind.
Peeling open and back your defenses.
You are home with the one now.
Home with your light and essence.
Take rest in the simplicity and bounty of your being.
Breathing long and slow breaths.
Watching as the great waves of life rush through you,
In your awareness and in your presence.
Watching the lines and curves of your being become soft and fluid.
Can you feel the perfection that is you,
Dear one?
Can you touch into what is pure and true within you?
Can you lean into the goodness of your being?
Can you feel the light of your being?
Can you feel the light of your being?
Can you lean into the goodness of your being?
Dear tender heart,
May you find refuge in this moment from all that feels hard and tired within your mind.
May you relax into the gifts hidden within you.
Placing both hands on your heart,
Lift your face lightly towards the sky as if you are letting light be poured into you.
And repeat for me now the mantra,
I am here and I care.
I am here and I care.
I am here and I care.
I care for every soul I come to meet.
I care for every heartbeat,
My own,
The earth and those around me.
I care for my body and all that lives inside me.
I care for my hands and feet,
For my joy and for my spirit.
I care for every moment and hold on to every moment.
I care for every moment and hold my life as a precious pearl in the palm of my hand.
I am here and I care.
Let me lean into this goodness as often as I can remember.
Let me lean into this goodness when I feel I am being pushed to my very edge.
Let me make medicine from my moments.
Let me let love lead.
Taking a deep breath for me now and letting out a sigh of contentment.
Ah,
Stretching in body and lengthening your spine and coming back to the room you are sitting in.
Remember how deeply you care,
Dearest one.
Seize this goodness,
Dear one.
Among all else,
Seize this goodness.
Thank you,
Sending blessings.
