Welcome to this compassion meditation.
This compassion meditation is all about coming to the center of your heart.
Anytime you're feeling stressful or start to doubt your path or maybe going towards a more critical self and you need a little time to process and to come back to the love that is inside your heart.
So I created this journey for you so you can regulate your body,
You can come back to the ease and so that you can release whatever that you've been carrying.
Find a comfortable space wherever you are.
You can be lying in bed,
Maybe sitting on a couch,
On your yoga mat,
Wherever you can feel fully safe and comfortable.
We'll start with gentle breaths from the base of our spine and exhaling out through our nose or mouth.
We'll do five rounds of that and we'll continue connecting to the space that is in our heart.
Let's begin our round.
Deep breath through your nose,
Exhaling it out.
As you're inhaling,
Start to notice the breath,
The sensation as the air travels through your nose,
Through your belly.
Last breath in.
As you're inhaling and exhaling here,
Releasing the breath count start by gently placing one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.
Feel as your chest and belly rise with an inhale and as it falls with an exhale.
Now go back in time and remember the time maybe you felt critical,
Uncomfortable,
Alone.
Maybe start to drift away from your heart,
From the softness that is in your heart.
And I want you to bring or turn back that energy wherever it drifted away toward your heart.
Maybe imagining a light that is in your heart,
Golden light or pick a color that makes you feel at ease.
And imagine that color traveling from that space that it was in before and visualizing that color,
That light onto your chest.
Hearing that this space in your heart asks for your compassion,
For softness.
To remember why it beats for you and only you.
When our heart closes,
We forget to love ourselves unconditionally.
We forget what it feels like to be in our body,
To be present with any challenges or emotions that come up.
And when we send that love back into our heart,
That's where we live fully with an open heart.
As you are in this space visualizing yourself,
Maybe start to feel a sense of calm in your body as you gently relax.
Start to deepen your breath here.
Relax into the feeling of ease that perhaps maybe there's nothing to change,
Nothing to fix.
And to simply be here with your heart,
With a love,
With ease,
The kindness in your heart.
Remembering to send that care towards yourself,
Not only others,
But it heals the whole planet.
When you are in alignment with your authentic self,
That you don't need to change who you are.
When simply it's just an invitation to go back to who you always were.
And that's to remember your heart and that's where your truth resides.
Visualize something you love,
Maybe a person you love,
As you're sitting here still connecting to this space in your heart.
Imagine that love they give to everything and everyone.
It doesn't ask you anything,
It simply just is.
And it happens that you opened your heart to something that brings you so much joy.
Bring that same energy towards your heart,
Knowing that in this compassionate space,
It's when you can create the life that you want,
To live in the freedom of expression.
And to not close or be afraid.
It's just an invitation.
Can you just simply sit with that invitation?
What does it feel in your body to be in that space where you can just simply relax?
You don't have to be anywhere,
You don't have to do anything.
You don't have to say anything.
And I want you to remember this space.
I want you to remember the connection.
And that anytime you feel disconnected from everything around you,
Remember to come back to what's in your heart that asks no conditions,
But to simply be with it.
To be open and to love and to give.
Feel that space in your heart.
Relax your shoulders.
And remember that this space is always there,
Always within you.
And that there is nothing magnificent that you need to be doing or achieving.
To be worthy of this love,
To be worthy of this connection that you have with yourself and all beings and animals and plants and connections that are really important to you.
Don't forget the space.
Don't forget your breath.
It's always there for you.
And to remember that you are not alone in this experience.
Start by taking two breaths here as we close off the practice.
Inhaling through the nose.
And exhaling,
Letting it go.
Letting everything that is not helping you move forward.
Or maybe anything that is not love.
Last breath in.
Love and know that it is always around you.
Start to wiggle your toes,
Fingers.
Maybe rotate your neck side to side or doing it in a kind of circular motion.
You are love,
Dear one.
You are so beautiful and you are so worthy of all the things that you desire.
