Hello,
My name is Sarah.
Welcome to this guided calm meditation to help you relieve stress,
Anxiety,
And all your worries.
Wherever you are,
Whether it's morning,
Night,
Sitting on a couch,
Maybe on your bed,
Find some space in your room to pause,
And to be with yourself,
To listen,
To go internally,
And to fade whatever is weighing you down in this moment.
We'll start by taking deep breaths through our nose,
And we exhale it through our mouth.
Deep breath in,
Exhale through your mouth.
Just like that,
Deep breath in,
Let it go.
As you start noticing your breath going in through your nose,
And exhaling all the worries,
All the stress,
To find balance,
To find ease,
A sense of groundedness.
If you've been disconnected from yourself for a while,
Can you perhaps notice any sensations in your body,
Any frustration that wants to release itself?
Simply notice anything that comes up,
And know that there's nothing to change here in this moment.
Simply you being present with what is,
Will start to dissipate all the thoughts,
The worries,
The anxiety,
Overthinking.
Keep breathing.
Deep breath in,
Exhaling through your mouth,
Sigh it out.
Be here with yourself in this moment.
Notice the air,
Your heartbeat,
And see if you can soften any hard hard edges in your body,
Parts in your body you're carrying a lot of weight.
Maybe you want to cry,
You want to scream onto a pillow.
Whatever it is that you need to do right now,
Let yourself do just that.
Keep breathing with all the sensations,
And relax into your body as you're released.
Relax into the ease,
Noticing your breath,
Cleansing your body,
Any tightness,
And know that everything will be okay.
Know and remember that you are safe to feel that this tension doesn't have to be there all the time,
That you can relax into your body anytime you want to,
And your body will naturally listen.
And a mantra that you can use can be,
I am present here with you,
And I release any stress,
Any worry from my body now.
You can repeat it three to five times with your breath.
Notice your belly rise,
And your belly falls.
And every time that you exhale,
You're releasing all the stress,
All the worry from your body,
Second by second.
And slowly we start to let go of the tension.
Start to notice the environment,
Notice any sound,
Bringing awareness to your present moment.
Start maybe wiggling your toes,
Fingers,
And coming back to here and now.
Gently and slowly,
You can open your eyes.
Notice the room,
Notice how you feel.
Notice the lightness,
Notice the calm,
Sense of groundedness.
How do you feel now compared to when you started?
Come back to this practice anytime you feel disconnected from yourself,
And you want a space to breathe and feel,
And to develop a sense of calm in your inner world.
May you find love and peace wherever you go.
I'll catch you in the next one.
Take care.
