And today I want to talk about something so many of us struggle with.
Nervous system regulation.
Have you ever felt like your mind knows exactly what to do,
But your body just won't cooperate?
That's a sign that your nervous system is dysregulated.
It's more common than you think.
You see your nervous system as constantly scanning for safety.
When it doesn't feel safe,
Whether that's from experiences.
From stress,
From overwhelm.
It shifts into survival mode.
It's called Fight Flight of Freedoms.
And when that happens,
No amount of mindset work,
Positive thinking,
Affirmations will really land or change anything.
Because our body comes first.
So simple practices like guided meditation,
Breath work.
Grounding through senses,
Our guided body scans can slowly shift things.
And over time your nervous system learns that it's safe to slow down,
Safe to rest.
It's safe to soften.
Safe to just be.
And that.
