Welcome,

Beautiful soul.

This is your time to soften,

To unwind,

To let the day dissolve moment by moment.

So,

As you gently lie down in bed,

You can let your body be fully supported.

You don't need to do anything right now.

There's nowhere to go,

No one to be but yourself.

Just let yourself be held in this moment and,

If it feels safe for you,

You can let your eyes gently,

Slowly close down and begin to turn inward.

And to start,

Let's take a slow breath in and allow yourself a long,

Gentle exhale.

And now bring your awareness to your mouth and your jaw.

Notice if you're holding any tension at all and you don't need to change anything about that.

Just simply become aware.

Then gently let your tongue drop from the roof of your mouth,

Let it rest softly.

Allow your jaw to loosen up,

Your cheeks to soften,

Your eyes to settle more deeply into stillness.

No effort,

No correction,

Just letting go.

And now bring your attention to your breath.

Notice its rhythm,

Its gentle flow.

With each exhale,

Invite more softness.

And see if you can let your out-breath be just a little longer than the in-breath.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Slowly,

Again,

In and out.

Let your breath rock you gently,

Like the waves of the sea.

And you can simply listen now.

Let the following words wash over you.

Nothing to repeat,

Nothing to remember,

Just receive.

It's safe for me to drift off now.

There is nothing I need to hold on to.

The day is complete.

My body knows how to rest.

Sleep is safe.

I am supported.

I am allowed to rest deeply.

There's nothing to prove.

I can let go.

I can let go.

I am letting go.

Even if my mind stays a little busy,

My body can still rest.

My breath can stay soft.

My nervous system knows what to do.

It knows this rhythm.

It remembers peace.

It remembers stillness.

I don't need to do anything right now.

I am enough,

Even as I fall asleep.

And now let these words fade into the background.

You are safe.

You are home.

You are held.

Let sleep come whenever it comes.

There is no rush.

No need to wait.

Just rest.

Just drift.

Just be.
