Hi,

I'm Sarah and I welcome you to this evening meditation for deep relaxation.

This time is just for you.

An opportunity to let go of the day and enter into a state of peace and tranquility.

So make yourself comfortable and find a relaxed position.

Where your hands and feet are not quite touching.

Take a deep breath in and out.

And take another deep breath in and out.

And with each breath let go of the day a little more.

And on your final deep breath gently allow your eyes to close as you exhale.

Feel how the muscles around your eyes start to relax.

Your gaze softens and so does your mind.

Thoughts continue to flow and become lighter.

With every sound you hear,

With every breath you take,

Your relaxation deepens.

Allow this gentle floating sensation to expand within you.

For now,

Time no longer matters.

Everything around you fades into the background.

Imagine that you are walking along a peaceful,

Quiet path.

Step by step.

And with each step you'll feel your body relaxing further as a warm wave of calm flows through you.

As you simply enjoy this moment of peace,

Start imagining your body relaxing from the inside out.

Starting with your feet.

Feel each muscle,

Each tendon loosening as your breath carries this relaxation upward.

Your legs,

Your pelvis,

Your hips,

Your whole lower body feels pleasantly loose and heavy.

This soothing relaxation continues to flow upwards into your back,

Your belly,

Your chest.

With each breath this feeling of relaxation deepens.

It now flows into your shoulders,

Down your arm,

Into your hand.

Everything feels at ease.

Your neck,

Your jaw,

Your forehead.

Completely relaxed.

Your whole body is in deep relaxation now.

And with your body relaxed,

Your mind follows this pleasant sensation.

Thoughts come and go like clouds in the sky.

There's nothing to hold on to right now.

Just let everything be.

Feel your breath flowing calmly and steadily.

And with each exhale,

Leave the day behind.

And with each inhale,

Welcome peace,

Lightness,

And serenity.

And now picture your breath gently drifting away like a soft white mist carrying with it all remaining tension as you exhale.

As you breathe in,

Fill your heart with calm,

Serenity,

Tranquility,

And a wonderful scent of ease and relaxation.

When you're in this deeply relaxed state,

All your bodily systems are working in harmony.

Your nervous system calms down.

Your blood pressure remains stable.

Your cells regenerate.

You're giving yourself the gift of rest and renewed strength right now.

So just let yourself go deeper into this wonderful state of healing relaxation.

Enjoying this moment of pure calm just a little longer.

You're completely safe and at ease.

And your body is guided into a deep,

Restorative sleep,

Following your natural rhythm.

Your thoughts are quiet.

Your heart beats steady.

And with every long,

Slow,

Deep breath,

You feel a comforting warmth surrounding you.

You will sleep deeply and wake up feeling rejuvenated.

You will feel refreshed,

Full of energy,

Ready for a new day filled with lightness and serenity.

So if you're listening to this meditation before sleep,

You can now simply end the recording and drift into a deep,

Peaceful sleep,

Filled with a positive and calming dream.

Good night.
