Through a calming somatic practice and reflective prompts, you’ll reconnect with your body and explore what balance feels like for you in this moment. You’ll be guided with softness—no pressure to be perfect, just an opportunity to land, slow down, and check in with care. This is your time to gently realign and feel supported from within.

Welcome.

This is a gentle space for you to pause.

To check in with yourself.

And to reconnect with your inner sense of balance.

You don't need to be perfectly calm or centered to be here.

Simply arrive.

Just as you are.

And now let's begin by coming home into the body.

Feel your feet resting on the ground.

Your seat supported beneath you.

Let your shoulders soften.

Relax your jaw.

And invite a sense of ease into your body.

And if it feels okay you can gently allow your eyes to close.

Or your gaze to soften.

And now let's settle the nervous system.

With a gentle breathing practice called the physiological sigh.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And at the very top of the breath sip in just a little more air.

And then exhale slowly through your mouth with a deep sigh.

Let's do that again.

Inhale deeply through your nose.

Sip in a little more air.

And exhale slowly letting go.

And do that one last time in your own rhythm.

Good.

Let your body soften.

Let yourself arrive.

And now gently ask yourself the following question.

How can I care deeply for others without abandoning myself?

How can I slow down without losing momentum?

How can I hold both structure and softness?

Just notice what arises.

No need to fix anything.

No need to figure it all out.

Let your breath keep you company.

Balance doesn't have to be perfect.

Sometimes quiet.

Sometimes messy.

But always it's something we can return to gently without judgment.

With every breath I come back to myself.

With every breath I soften into balance.

And now take a final deep breath in and let it go.

Bring a little movement into your fingers,

Your toe,

Maybe wiggle a little side to side or stretch your body and slowly come back into the room opening your eyes when you're ready.

Thank you for being here.

You can return to this practice anytime you need a soft place to land.

Until next time,

Sarah.
