This is a five-minute relaxing meditation guided with music. Good for a break or before you go to sleep. It helps reduce stress levels and muscle tension. It can be listened to while sitting down, or while sleeping.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for joining from my meditation.

First of all,

Sit down or lay down in a comfortable position.

Next,

Take a deep breath.

As you exhale,

Feel the stress flowing out from your body.

Take another deep breath.

Now,

As you begin to relax,

Gently stretch out any areas of tension in your body,

Like your hands,

Your feet,

Your neck.

Imagine your body is melting into the floor and that everything that you've been holding onto is released.

You are supported.

You are safe.

Next,

Take in a breath.

This time,

Imagine a golden light filling every cell in your body and expanding your awareness so that you feel like you're taking up the whole room.

As you breathe,

Your chest rises and falls.

With each exhalation,

All the areas of stress in your body are disappearing.

Next,

Imagine a beautiful golden orb of light.

It is sitting at the top of your head.

As it moves down through your body,

It's releasing any areas of tension that you're still holding onto.

The ball moves down through your spine gently and as it moves,

All tension is released.

You're feeling very relaxed and warm.

All your muscles are soft and your energy is good.

Next,

Imagine a beautiful purple light expanding throughout your body from your chest area.

As it expands,

It pushes out any negative energy and you're feeling safe,

Warm and relaxed.

If your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Just bring it back to a central point,

Focusing the energy into your third eye located just between your eyebrows and slightly higher in the center of your forehead.

Now breathe into this energy.

Breathe into this energy center and see a beautiful crimson light expanding throughout your whole room.

You are feeling totally relaxed and energized.

As you lie there,

Imagine a beautiful rainbow light swirling around you,

Protecting you.

This energy will stay with you,

Making you stronger and supported.

Now if you're listening to this meditation at night,

You can turn off the meditation and go gently to sleep.

Otherwise,

You will relax for a few moments and then I will bring you back.

Now,

Gently take a deep breath in through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

Stretch your feet and your wrists and your hands,

Bringing energy back into your extremities.

Now gently open your eyes.
