I am your guide Saqib and through this meditation I will guide you to reach your own inner state of pure awareness and consciousness.
The reason that many of us are not able to get quality sleep is that we hold on to the external world.
I will guide you in letting go of the external world and into your own true nature,
Your own true self,
Your own consciousness where you will rest,
Relax and sleep.
The state of consciousness within you is very blissful,
Loving and healing.
And before we start I want to tell you that I love you.
Our consciousness is connected at a deeper level and we are one.
So then let's unite in this meditation and experience quality sleep.
Let's start then.
Now check if you can shift into a more relaxed posture.
Be as comfortable as possible.
Keep your eyes open for now.
I will prompt you to close them soon.
Now just be aware of your external surroundings.
Notice the space that you are in.
Feel the weight of your body.
Feel the air on your skin.
The smell in the air.
And listen to the sounds around you.
Notice what is there in your line of sight.
Is it a roof or is it a wall?
Scan the entire roof or wall or whatever is there in your line of sight.
If it is too dark and you can't see anything,
Just gaze into the darkness.
And now bring your focus to a single point on the roof,
The wall or any single point in the darkness in the line of your sight.
And just gaze at this point for some time.
Let your gaze be a soft case.
And strain your eyes.
And now gradually close your eyes.
Before we journey inwards,
Let's together set our sankalpa or intention for having quality sleep.
I will say the words of sankalpa and either you can repeat after me in your heart or can just listen to my words.
It's up to you.
I give deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

I give deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.
Now we will bring our sankalpa into manifestation by visualizing it.
Surprised yourself in your imagination that you are sleeping deeply with full rest and relaxation.
See that there is peace within you.
There is a faint smile on your face while you are sleeping.
This smile is due to the deep relaxation that your mind and your body has achieved.
Feel that peace and relaxation in your mind and your whole body.
Now find where your awareness is.
Where is this thing called I,
Me or myself?
When you say I,
Me or myself,
Where do you feel it?
Is that feeling in your body?
Where in your body specifically?
Let's find it.
Start from your feet.
So place your attention now on your feet.
See if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your feet or not.
Now place your awareness on your calves.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your calves or not.
Now place your awareness on your knees.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your knees or not.
Place your awareness on your thighs now.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your thighs or not.
Place your awareness on your pelvis.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your pelvis or not.
Place your awareness on your abdomen.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your abdomen or not.
Place your awareness on your chest.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your chest or not.
Now place your awareness on your hands.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your hands or not.
Place your awareness on your arms.
Check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your arms or not.
And now place your awareness on your shoulders.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your shoulders or not.
Place your awareness on your neck.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your neck or not.
Place your awareness on your face now.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your face or not.
Place your awareness on your head.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is in your head or not.
Place your awareness just behind your eyes.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is behind your eyes or not.
Place your awareness inside your brain.
And check if this feeling of I,
Me or myself is inside your brain or not.
And now check if there are any thoughts in your mind right now.
Who is watching these thoughts?
Realize that your awareness is separate from these thoughts.
Imagine these thoughts as bubbles floating in front of you with each thought representing one bubble.
In your imagination,
Pop these bubbles of thoughts one by one with a slight touch of your finger.
Just in your imagination.
Now imagine that you are watching your own body,
Your entire body.
Realize that if you can watch your body,
Then your awareness is separate from your body.
Realize that your body is just a thought in your consciousness.
Realize that the whole world is just a thought in your consciousness.
Realize that you are pure awareness.
Feel that bliss of being pure consciousness and pure awareness.
Now just feel this state of pure awareness for some time.
And now that you have realized that you are pure awareness,
Let's be thankful to the universe.
I will say the words of gratitude three times and you can just feel what I am saying.
Let's start then.

The gateway to the world of sleep is through the heart.
So now we will make your awareness journey from your mind to your heart.
And into a place of silence and stillness where you will rest,
Relax and sleep deeply.
For this we will move our awareness from the mind to the throat to the heart and into that place of silence and stillness.
So bring your awareness now at the point between your eyebrows.
Gradually move your awareness downwards and place your awareness at your throat and the center of your neck.
And now move your awareness further downwards and place it at the center of your chest.
From here we will journey to a place of silence,
A place of stillness,
A place of pure being.
This place is deep within us.
Descend down to that place as I guide you.
I will be counting back from 10 to 1.
And as I do so,
With each count,
Imagine and feel as if you are descending one step into that place of silence,
Stillness and sleep.
Once you reach that place of pure being,
Just relax there by simply listening to the music in the background as you go deeper and deeper into the world of sleep.
Rest in that state of pure awareness.
