Namaste and a warm welcome to this practice.
My name is Sakib and today I am going to try something different.
It's called meditative poetry.
In meditative poetry we meditate on some verses and the verses that we will use today is a poem that I wrote which I call,
My Beloved.
This practice is for you if you wish to manifest a loving partner or if you already have a partner and you wish to deepen your connection with your partner.
Or maybe you wish to build a loving relationship with yourself or your own inner child or inner self.
The gender pronoun I have used in this poem is labeled as she.
But you can think of anyone when I recite this poem.
In fact allow yourself to think of that person.
Maybe that person whom you want to meet or that person who is your partner or maybe your own inner self.
So let's get started.
I will request you to begin with placing one or both of your hands at the center of your chest on your heart center.
And now let's breathe in and out of the heart center.
So as you breathe,
Channel your breath through your heart.
And as you breathe in and out of your heart,
Let your awareness be at the center of your chest.
And as you are breathing in and out of your heart center,
Feel that love building up in your heart.
Feel your heart opening as if it is a lotus and the petals of the lotus are opening.
Feel your whole being filled with love.
And now I will be reciting the poem.
So allow yourself to feel these words deeply in your heart,
In your being.
Between each recitation I will give you some time to deeply absorb these words.
And as you do that,
Feel that love.
Feel your being filling with more love.
My Beloved My Beloved is the one to whom I already feel deeply connected.
So when I'll meet her,
I will just know that she is the one.
Our meeting will be special because in our union there will be a remembrance,
A remembrance of our oneness.
My Beloved is the one who will slow me down as if she will stop the world from me,
To make me experience a state of timelessness.
For true love is timeless.
It is not a prisoner in the grip of time,
But a free bird that can travel vast distances.
My Beloved is the one who will relax me as if I will arrive home.
The Ram's will be my heaven where I will surrender myself the way a river offers itself to the ocean.
My Beloved is the one in whose presence I will be at peace,
As if she is a Buddha keen to awaken her disciple.
Her wife will be so loving that it will open my heart.
Her aura so beautiful as if she would emit light.
In her presence I will enter heaven.
My Beloved is the one with whom life will be a dance between the polarities of ups and downs,
Fear and love,
Joy and sorrow,
And separation and oneness.
Our love will be mystical,
Transcending attachment,
Expectations,
Control,
Desperation,
Possession.
Her love will be unconditional and infinite.
My Beloved is the one who is a reflection of my own consciousness.
And therefore,
I know that to meet my Beloved,
I will first have to become like her.
I will have to become love myself.
Feel that love inside you and all around you.
And with that gradually you can come out of the practice in your own time.
I hope you enjoyed the prayer and I want to tell you that I love you.
Namaste.
