Today I am thinking about how I've been choosing the things I like to do in a way that I can incorporate them into my life.
And that means that I choose to do them consistently.
It is this consistency that leads me to the outcomes I want.
I remember for instance years ago I used to have yoga classes,
One class per week.
And every time I left the class I felt lighter and my mind was much more clear.
At that time it was a bit of an effort for me to meditate because I used to feel a little bit of resistance.
My mind was full of thoughts,
So meditating for me was uncomfortable.
But then with time I got used to it and it was easier and easier.
But I had yoga only once per week and I always felt like it wasn't enough because I liked it so much.
I felt the results actually,
But I wanted more.
I felt it was great,
But since I had so good results I wanted to feel more of that.
And years after,
Actually four years ago I went to do a yoga course and I started to incorporate yoga every day.
I started with meditation every day and then with the practice,
The asanas,
The pranayamas,
The relaxation,
Meditation,
Mantras,
Everything.
And wow,
That was really,
Really a big change in my life.
I'm just giving the example of yoga because I really feel that that is part of me right now.
It became a ritual,
A morning ritual,
But I could speak about other things as well.
It's just this feeling of everything that I really want in my life.
I really,
Really want it.
I have this thought of leaving the moment,
But we can see how every day is separated from each other because the sun rises and the sun sets and we go to sleep.
So since we see the days different from each other,
I feel like I am born again every day.
It's like I am born again with every sunrise.
And when I go to sleep after the sunset,
It's like a renovation,
Some kind of healing that happens during the night.
And then when I wake up,
It's a new opportunity.
It's a reborn.
So I have this feeling of every day is special.
Every day is unique.
And since every day is so special,
I incorporate the things I love the most every day.
I am saying this in a general way,
Like a list of priorities in my life,
Including the things I love the most and the things I want to extract the benefits from.
Those I want to incorporate every day.
If I can wake up in the morning and do yoga with everything that is part of it,
Oh wow,
I will feel so good every day.
And I know the difference of doing it and not doing it.
When I don't do it,
I know I'm going to miss it.
It's a voice inside of me saying,
Why didn't you do it if you love it?
And of course I'm not saying that everybody has to do yoga.
This is just an example for me,
A personal example.
This can be applied to everybody in everything that people love.
If we incorporate the things we love the most and the things that really make us feel good afterwards,
We should include them.
I've been noticing that it is this consistency that gives me all the benefits I want from anything.
And if I do it in this way,
It's like never giving up on me.
It's like offering me a gift every day.
It's like every day is my birthday.
Actually every day is my birthday because I feel that I am born again every day.
So every day is my birthday.
And so I want gifts every day.
Gifts from me,
From me to me,
Because I deserve them because I want to feel those gifts because I want to feel that I'm alive and every day is special.
And by recognizing it,
I am saying every day that I love myself,
That I care about myself,
That I'm here for myself.
It's like saying,
Good morning,
Here it is for you,
This wonderful gift.
And by the way,
There is more.
It's an entire day of gifts every day consistently.
And I can assure you,
It's a wonderful feeling.
I can start with some ritual in the morning and then I can make a list of things that I want to do,
That I love,
And if I do it every day,
Or at least in a consistent way,
This is a life changing,
A wonderful life changing.
Years years ago,
A friend gave me a gift and I said,
We will open this in a special day.
I will wait for the special day when we will open this.
It was a beverage.
I remember wondering when that day would come.
How will I know when the day will come?
And you know what happened?
I never opened that bottle,
Never ever,
Because the special day never came.
It was never a good enough day to be special.
And now I know that the special day is now.
The special time is now.
And that's why I feel I do the things I love in a consistent way,
Because I choose to be special,
To live special,
And to feel special every day,
Every moment of my life.
And I know that that will reflect on others.
I know that every time I express myself,
I will be telling.
Even though I may not use words,
I will be telling.
It is possible to be special and feel special every day,
Every moment of this life.
