Where Is My Guidance

Here I speak about how we human beings may struggle in finding guidance throughout our lives, and how that guidance can actually come in unexpected forms. I remind us of the one place where all the guidance that we need really is.

My name is Sangeet, And today I am sharing with you something about guidance. We all look for guidance, And it would be so much easier if we had come to this world with all the instructions. We wouldn't have to dwell on choices and decisions. We would just do it, And we would be absolutely sure about it. No regrets, No depression, Only happiness all the time. Life seems to be a different game, Though. It seems to be more about finding ways to get to that guidance, Rather than just following it, Especially when we are still decoding our core identity. It is like having a very confusing map, Instead of a magic pill that solves everything. I will share a personal experience that is related to this. Growing up, I had a specific person in my life that one way or the other seemed to give me the wrong advice. They would mainly depreciate, Discourage, And demotivate me somehow. For years, I felt many unpleasant feelings as a result of this. Later on, I have realized that every time I would follow or believe whatever they said, I would end up feeling bad or regretting, And whenever I would do the opposite, I would feel good or I would succeed. It was so obvious that I couldn't deny. What I thought it was pulling me back was in fact guiding me, Just in a distorted way that was all. For those of us who are struggling in finding guidance, Just know that it is everywhere. It may seem confusing at times, But it is here and it is accessible. We may expect it to be different, To be nice and fun, And sometimes it is, But let's not discard all the other forms, Because they can be undeniably precious as well. And no matter what ways the universe shows us its guidance, It is in us anyway. We are all the guidance that we need. It is all in us and it will always be.
