It is said that the soul star chakra is seat of the soul,
But perhaps it is actually located in your heart.
The expression,
You'll know when it's right,
Tells us that there is something deep within us,
An inner knowing,
That can gently guide us in the right direction if we let it.
Think of the times when you were led by your heart,
When you were truly in love with something or someone.
This visceral response felt deep in your soul,
Coupled with butterflies in the tummy,
Waves of happiness tingling over you.
This is what it means to be heart felt.
It is believed by many that we have three mind centers,
The brain,
The gut and the heart.
When we are faced with a difficult decision,
It is encouraged that we check in with all three of them.
However your brain wants to feel important and will try to do all the work.
Consider the scenarios of this decision and notice how you feel as you imagine them.
Do you feel warm and fuzzy,
A flutter of excitement?
Your heart beat becomes more prominent or beats faster?
Or do you feel as if your heart is in your mouth or it's struck below your feet?
It is no coincidence that the sacral chakra is located around the pelvis and governs how we react to pleasure and pain,
Giving us a definite yes or no.
Gut instinct is an immediate feeling that you are on the right track,
An understanding that comes from deep within,
An intuitive knowing.
Likewise,
A gut-wrenching feeling is steering us away.
The heart chakra governs love for ourselves and for others.
The Sanskrit word for this energy center is Anahata,
Which means unstruck,
Unhurt.
Are you using this guide as your compass?
If you come from a place of love,
Kindness and compassion,
Then the answer is yes.
This does not mean that you put the needs of others before your own.
When the chakra is in balance,
You approach situations with a gentle calmness,
A full heart and a sense of understanding.
People will be drawn to this beautiful energy as it will speak to their own heart.
The wisdom of the heart is never wrong.
Some of its innate qualities include truth,
Generosity,
Equanimity and morality.
It is so much more than a small organ that pumps blood around our body and keeps us alive.
A happy heart is a healthy heart.
A sense of meaning,
Purpose,
Connection to something larger than oneself is said to have a positive impact on the physical health of the heart,
Reinforced by meditation,
Prayer,
Yoga,
Mindfulness,
Being in nature and other spiritual practices.
Forgiveness is also said to free the heart.
So if you're holding on to past hurts,
It is time to let go and liberate yourself.
Let go of those ties that bind you and hold you back from fulfillment.
Give your heart the gift of peace and freedom.
All around you will benefit from this peace.
It is time to follow the wisdom of the heart,
The spiritual laws for connection,
Happiness,
Determination,
Love,
Honesty,
Awareness and understanding.
Embrace your beauty,
Your power,
Your grace and the blessings of the universe.
For we are one and one is all.
And so it is.
