Hello dear ones and welcome to today's meditation.
A witnessing meditation sitting in awareness of what is happening.
Just taking a few moments to arrive here fully.
Making yourself comfortable in your space.
Becoming aware of your breath.
Not trying to change it in any way.
Just allowing yourself to be aware of what is.
Noticing any sensations in the body.
Tightness,
Warmth,
Tingling and maybe noticing the emotional body.
How do you feel?
What is alive right now?
Not judging or analyzing any of it.
Just becoming aware.
Sitting comfortably now.
Let the body settle without effort and notice that something is aware.
Do not name it.
Do not locate it.
Thoughts appear.
Sensations appear.
Breath appears.
Now gently notice.
What is it that is aware of all of this?
Do not answer.
Just notice.
What is it that is aware of all of this?
If an answer appears,
Notice that it too is being seen.
Thoughts appear.
Sensations appear.
Breath appears.
What is it that is aware of all of this?
Rest here as the one who sees but cannot be seen.
Stay here as the one who is aware of all of this.
As thoughts appear.
As sensations appear.
As breath appears.
Rest here as the one who sees.
Do not name it.
Just stay here.
What is it that is aware of all of this?
Thoughts appear.
Sensations appear.
Breath appears.
Stay here as the one who sees but cannot be seen.
Nothing needs to happen.
Nothing needs to happen.
And when you are ready,
Dear ones,
Bring your awareness back now into the room.
Gently opening your eyes if they were closed.
Maybe taking a deep inhale and on the exhale making a sound.
My invitation to you today is to carry this sense of awareness with you throughout your day.
