Breathwork Morning Momentum Surge
by Ryan Bean
Breathwork Morning Momentum Surge is an energizing yet grounded morning practice designed to help you reset your nervous system and build intentional momentum for the day ahead. The session begins with awareness as the foundation of all positive change, guiding you into present-moment focus before moving into gentle hypoxic awareness. Accompanied by the sound of the Pacific Ocean and live handpan, this practice balances activation and calm to awaken both body and mind without overwhelm. You’ll move through a progression of techniques including alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana), an active exhale practice call Kapalabhati often known as Skull Shining Breath, and periods of 3/3 and 2/2 balanced breathing that gradually increase pace and focus. The practice culminates in a single extended breath hold, inviting a brief state stillness and clarity before settling back into deep relaxation with the ocean’s rhythm. Suitable for all levels.
