Daily and often, My story is long, The effort is big, With a search for a meaning, A belonging I dig. As my journey unfolds with all of its challenges and wins, A new self-awareness begins to set in. I practice this loving, Kind attention daily and often, With meditation and being, Mind and body soften, An insight emerges deep in the heart, A collection and gathering of each child in part. Trust me in this awareness lives hope, A refuge, A portal, A tool to help cope, The stress that is present begins to dissolve, And with it a great gift will continue to evolve. Liberating and free, This place offers space, A new understanding, A new message, A new grace, I notice my reactions more balanced and calm, My practice is growing, Sensing energy and palm, The answer I search for is here in my seat, The connection is deep, Focused and dense in my feet, I rest here for now, Allowing stillness to spread, Noticing the pull less from the thoughts in my head, The weight of my bones, Muscles and joints, Is where the awareness settles and points, Distraction loses strength, I'm feeling open and empty, Allowing self love to enter, Flowing and plenty, With sounds, Senses and presence, My faithful companion, I gather this experience in wild abandon, I return to it committed and loyal each day, Practicing love, Radiant its ray. You all with me in this beautiful song, Supporting each other as we travel along. The places we gather, Practice and share, Our openness blossom, As our willingness to care, It's unfolding and magical and inspiring, An awakening back to life as his gatherings bring, Us just watching of an essence of possibility unfold, At a grounded center, Our creativity takes hold, Let's embrace this presence, Collective together, A home, A connection in all kinds of weather, In continuation of this quest for more peace, Relaxation, A stillness and shared quiet release.
