Welcome,

You made it here.

If anxiety has its hand on your shoulder today,

This is for you.

These powerful statements give clear messages to the mind and body.

Anxiety is experienced by everyone and as humans,

We're simply meeting life as it comes.

But we can learn skills,

Ways and tools to help us manage when anxiety moves through us.

I invite you now to bring awareness to the body just by feeling into our feet,

Maybe moving our toes a little.

And wiggling the fingers,

It can be helpful to count through them.

And if you can,

Following any sort of breath in and out of the body.

And if you can make it just a little slower,

That would be brilliant.

But don't feel any pressure.

Any awareness that you're here right now,

Just by listening to my voice is exactly where you should be.

When I see the following statements,

I invite you to do whatever feels natural for you.

You might want to repeat them out loud,

Or in your head,

Or simply let them land.

Maybe you'll feel like reflecting on the words.

You might feel some words resonate more deeply,

And you can hold them a little closer.

Let's begin.

I am safe in this moment.

It's okay to feel what I feel.

My breath is my anchor.

I can ride this wave,

I don't need to control the sea.

Even this will pass.

There is a space inside me that anxiety cannot touch.

I choose softness,

Not struggle.

I am enough.

I don't have to have all the answers.

Right now,

I just breathe.

My body knows how to come home to calm.

I release what I cannot carry.

Peace is not far,

It's already here,

Waiting.

I am okay.

This feeling is big,

But I am bigger.

I am in my body,

I am in this moment.

With every breath,

I come back to now.

With every breath,

I feel more and more relaxed.

I return to the rhythm of my natural breath.

It's okay not to have all the answers.

I can feel uncomfortable and still be okay.

I let go of what I can't control.

I don't need to be perfect to be lovable.

I am kind and gentle with myself,

Especially now.

I have faced fear and kept going.

I can bend without breaking.

I am stronger than this storm.

By simply being here,

Taking this time for yourself,

Listening to these powerful affirmations,

You have offered yourself help,

Fed yourself wisdom,

Soothed your nervous system,

And been proactive in your own healing.

You might want to think of a powerful statement that resonates with you.

Making it your own now,

A statement that offers calm in the storm,

Grounding,

Reassurance,

Whatever you need.

Whatever you go on to do after this,

I hope that you feel a little better,

Gently now.

Enjoy the rest of your day,

Evening,

Or night.
