I'm Shanti and welcome to Soul to Soul.

This is Rose from Brahma Kamaris and Glasgow from Inner Space and today we're going to talk about rejuvenated by spiritual health.

I hope you'll enjoy this topic.

We're going to start off by saying that to become refreshed and rejuvenated you have to look at two things really.

You have to look at your spiritual health but you have to also pay a lot of attention to your physical health and so both go hand in glove.

You won't be too happy with just one and not the other.

You'll find yourself not too content.

So we're saying do you feel healthier since the lockdown and most of us must have noticed or heard that nature has had a chance to refresh itself.

They say they've given reports of cleaner fresher water,

Cleaner air etc.

We found that very interesting because we do feel that a rest and rejuvenation works wonders for the body and the spirit because I mean what we teach is peace to have a rest peaceful and usually because we're so busy it's not often so easy physically to achieve that goal.

Now I would just like to flag up something I like to use examples that happened to me and just the other day I know we're all locked down but we've had a friend who come to do repairs for us over a lot of years and we needed an urgent repair so they came to our door and I was astonished haven't seen them maybe for maybe two months before the lockdown it's still you know a reasonable length of time and this person runs their own business the busiest person one of the busiest people on the planet young always always worried always concerned about business always doing doing doing till late at night always always trustworthy always always always always concerned to look after his family and life and all the things that go along with that and of course they were okay they looked quite a reason didn't have much time to manage their health really have to say but that looked okay is when you looked out into the world at people you would never have said the person looked remarkable in any way but was okay when they came to the door I couldn't believe it and I said for goodness sake what have you been doing you sure you've been rest definitely resting because all the stress all the worry all the tension had gone from their face and they said yeah they'd had a they had still kept working because as a tradesperson they had enough work but not a lot nothing like they'd had before and so they'd had lots of time to spend with their family playing games and this person's also a musician so practicing music which they'd never had a chance to do for a long long time and I said you know you look like a boy you have you have you look remarkable so somehow that rest and freedom from worry stress and tension had completely changed how that person looked so they came to a repair for us but I think we did a repair for them he went away so happy and the compliments that were flowing I said you even look quite handsome so because you see when we stopped being worrying worried and stressed and concerned everything in us changes the way we interact with others change our whole attitude everything from the inside out which is what it should be we work from the inside out so what can I do to refresh my entire system we look at meditation exercise healthy eating so let's have a look now and let's explore health in many different directions of our lives and so what I must put to the top however is that I am a soul and I have a physical body so I have the ownership of this body and it's up to me to look after the body that I live in it's not that it just happens we thought that a long time ago that this was what we had and that's how it was we didn't really know we were so responsible but meditation can help to maintain a healthy mind and the seed of our entire world is the way we think I'm a point of light I am peace and originally I'm naturally peaceful I'm free from stress I'm no stress in my original form I have no stress I like everybody I have no enemies I have no worries I'm not concerned about anything because everything works according to the energy I put out but we think that somehow everything out there I have to manage it and manage it and manage it no it'll work and what happens is I accumulate stress because I hope and I wish you know I pray and I try everything to make things work the way I would like them to work and quite often how I want them to work isn't the way they're gonna work anyway so I'm going in the wrong direction in the first place stress is very very unhealthy it creates a very very uncomfortable energy in our entire body system it also blocks out all our good energies and it keeps me focused focused focused on hoping and wishing and praying that things will work out rather than treating myself kindly now if I can just think about it the entire body system brain eyes ears nose heart everything is energized by I the soul and it's the vibrations from the soul that create peace positivity joy love kindness everything courage strength success success comes when I just feel okay about everything that's me at success I cannot change the drama of life what's for me will not go past me as they say when I think in this very positive way and even if I can only do this for moments and meditation I'm still creating that vibration inside me which won't be destroyed once it's created because it's positive energy I've lost all my positive energy you see at this point in time I've picked up a whole load of physical energy instead and there isn't room for both at the same time so I have to make a space and start to build up a space for spiritual energy this is why we do meditation now the other thing is that when I think more in this spiritual way this affects my immune system in a very very good way and that immune system will be affected anyway it will be affected when I think in a not positive way and then that will take down the energy of my immune system and when I think in a positive way it will boost the energy of my immune system so I can achieve good health by thinking of peace and positivity and joy and health and happiness kindness peace love all these courage and beautiful qualities so to do this whenever I can is to go into the spiritual mode so to have meditation whenever I can even it's up two minutes one minute half a minute throughout the day but hopefully for some maybe bigger periods of time a couple of times a day at least and then I'll start to build up a spiritual power my inner power inner peace so when I look at the physical however because I'll be coming stronger in my thinking I need to really look at what am I putting into the body to feed the body because the healthy mind comes from being light and peaceful when I become naturally peaceful and stress-free I'm feeding the soul all these beautiful qualities are food for the mind food for the soul but I'm living in a physical body food for the soul isn't exactly feeding the physical body it requires to be given attention it's become quite a lot of people are now looking at plant-based diet I'm not going into this I'm just going to say research it they say and I've done been doing it myself for a long time that it does turn around many illnesses of the body it does refresh the whole body system including your hearing your eyesight your hair your body your bones sicknesses diabetes all sorts of things can be turned around by looking at plant-based diet because it's like nature you're going back to nature just like the whole planet if the planet starts to get refreshed through a stain inside and the car is not as many cars there must be a lot that might happen if we start to eat according to the natural laws of nature and then we also say stay hydrated drink plenty water most important no matter what some way or other find a way to walk dance and play you need some exercise and rest as peacefully as possible and once you start to get yourself respect back and really relax teaching yourself to relax it's easier to get some peaceful sleep also in these qualities that we practice as a soul practice respect respect for yourself it creates obviously respect in yourself for yourself but it respects healthier relationships it creates healthier relationships respect the self and become a clear communicator and respect other people's time speech when I start to look at my thoughts and see the kind of things that I think I can become more clear and aware inside my own head now when I become more clear and aware and see the benefits that are happening to the way I'm thinking inside my own head I will speak more slowly because I'll be wanting to watch my speech I want to say things off the top of my head that might be hurtful or stupid or foolish or create a problem so I will speak more carefully when I speak more carefully I will be giving more and more respect to others and then when I look at nature nature becomes more beautiful when there's no noise and pollution so it's the same with us when there's no absolutes or rattling around in my head of things that are just filling in the gaps then I can actually become more beautiful because I'm the same and I have noticed that people that do become more peaceful expressions on the faces and the calmness that comes from within is far more attractive than people who are just talking nonsense all over the place and rattling around it's harsh and it's not doing the body system or the self much good especially when it comes to self-respect because you are beautiful the potential for being a lovely being is huge because if I meditate I will become quieter inside and I will become a more attractive personality what will happen there what would make it like that is that because I am believing more in myself people will believe more in me and trust me more I'll feel that I'm kinder and more understanding and our peaceful vibrations will reassure people it's a world of disturbance at the moment out there and it does take that some people will start to look inside to find answers because I don't think there's many answers to be found at the moment out there and I think that the more I can find answers and the more and more people it's like you know we're a family I want to belong to a family of meditators actually that come together to put themselves in order and then put that orderliness out through their thoughts words and expressions to soothe other people and reassure other people that all is okay we can't change out there we can't change out there but we live out there but we can also live inside inside our heads and so we can become quieter and more attractive and purer inside and kinder and stronger and so I think I'm going to ask if there's any questions We kind of have good days and bad days so I know the things that bring good health but it's still funny that some days I can wake up feeling fantastic and then the next day I can wake up feeling like there's a little stuff to go through.

What do you do if you wake up and it's one of those days where you're not feeling fantastic even if you've been making a lot of effort on all levels to look after your mental health your physical health and practicing soul consciousness.

This is where faith in the self comes in if you have been sincerely practicing this as much as you can from time to time as much as you can can't talk for everybody then you will have recorded all that good stuff in yourself it will be recorded and we will have up and down days because we have a lot of the other stuff recorded which will be pushing its way out to say what about me what about me what about me what about all that aggression you had what about the challenging nature you had what about the grumpiness usually wake up grumpy for how many years 20 years 30 years where is that a way to don't tell me that you're now all sweet natured so that will come to the surface but inside you say to yourself well that's the way it is today but I know that inside me and I'm not gonna I'm not gonna buy into the grumpiness I'm gonna do my best to just say to myself now just just just be calm for a minute and if I can if it's within my power I will sit and have a few minutes meditation to remind myself actually I am enjoying being peaceful and helpful and happy and kind I'm enjoying it just briefly about physical discomfort because it seems that we all have to go through some pain but how do I manage that so that I don't overly suffer like visualizing the body is light or things like this can help me well I think everyone will have something maybe some people think at the moment they've not had anything much to go through but they'll still be a backdrop that they haven't been seen yet I would say hold on to your hat because I'd say you can't possibly have gone through a big life journey without there having had been many scenes of discomfort in some form or another and emotional scenes can cause us to feel physical discomfort not just emotional and so we will feel heartbroken will feel betrayed will feel all sorts of things and if we have enough feelings of those they will have a very very heavy impact on the physical health which can give you huge health deterioration so stop feeling sorry for the self and stop and going on about oh my goodness so emotionally you feel bad don't forget that's affecting your physical health dramatically at that point of time is crashing your immune system it's then the brain is going haywire try to fit into place how bad the whole physical system must feel under that barrage and making you feel physically sick and if you keep on like that you will become also chronically physically sick so you need to stop and calm yourself down so making yourself peaceful is the only thing we've all gone through life experiences nobody none of us are brand new souls we haven't got that we've not got a blot on our blotting paper we've all got masses of stuff and we think because we might get over it it's gone but it's not it's recorded we like to think things are recorded when the goings good and we're not so happy about being recorded when there's a lot of stuff that's uncomfortable recorded there and that will also show its face which is why we need to look at the way we think and very very quickly jump into thinking in a cooling and calming and reassuring way for myself not to amplify anything rather to calm it down and also not to think it's real because if it's in the past it's in the past but it is recorded but it's only a record you don't have to go through it again and meet the record stronger yeah okay so let's have a few minutes of meditation and so remembering spiritual energy spiritual power peaceful soul the center of the forehead a being of light I can practice so many things I can practice showing light over myself scattering light through my entire physical body which will also go out into the world teach myself to enjoy being light teach myself to enjoy being peaceful teach myself to feel so lucky so lucky lucky lucky soul I can have any energy ever because now I'm aware that all these energies are within me I'm a soul I'm a being of peace and if I can remember there's another soul a divine soul that's full of all those beautiful energies constantly I can always feel refreshed and belonging and loved and empowered I am NOT alone I'm a child of the one above or Christ.
