Good evening and welcome to this guided new moon meditation.
This one will be a little bit different than the meditations I normally guide.
This one will be with ceremonial cacao,
A ritual to help you connect deeper to your heart and to your inner wisdom.
If you don't have ceremonial cacao,
You can also prepare a very nice cup of tea.
Before I will start guiding you through the meditation,
I will explain a little bit about cacao.
Ceremonial cacao is also called the food of the gods.
It helps you connect deeper with your higher self,
With that inner wisdom and to the earth,
To feeling connected,
Safe,
Loved and nourished.
It's a very gentle and loving heart opener.
It's 100% pure and raw,
Which means it has all the minerals and antioxidants and vitamins still contained in it,
Which helps you to relax,
Connect with your subconscious and get you from the head into your heart.
Cacao can have different effects onto your body.
It can have an effect on your physical,
Mental,
Energetical and your emotional.
It can allow you to relax deeper.
Maybe you want to move,
It can create ideas or new insights.
Maybe you can get visuals.
On an emotional level,
You can feel love,
Bliss,
Warmth and you can feel a deep release of emotion.
On an energetical level,
You can feel the space opening around your heart.
You can feel warmth or tingling,
Energy moving through your body.
It all depends on your setting and on yourself.
This soft loving plant medicine has been used for thousands of years in ceremony by the people from Central America.
Tonight,
We're going to drink cacao to open our hearts and connect deeper with ourselves.
We'll start with dropping into ourselves so that we can let go and release before we start to drink our cacao.
Come into a nice and calm position,
Sitting with your back straight,
Your arms relaxed into your lap.
Lower your gaze and go inside and start taking some deep loving breaths.
Let them flow easily in and out,
Breathing in all the way into your belly,
All the way into your hips and letting go through your mouth.
Taking some long deep breaths to connect to this moment.
Be present.
Inhale in,
Expanding your lungs,
Expanding your belly and exhale with a deep side out and release.
Visualize a stream of water entering your body,
Filling it up through your toes,
All the way to your knees,
Your hips,
Flowing all the way to the tip of your head.
The water moving through your body,
Scanning it for any stuck energy,
Anything that's limiting you,
Anything that's holding you back,
Anything that feels heavy.
The water letting it absorb into your flow.
Let it go,
Whatever you want to release,
Whatever you feel you have to let go.
Let that water flow through your body,
Taking in all this heavy energy and releasing it,
Releasing this water from your body with your exhale.
Feeling a relief,
Feeling lightness into your body,
Letting go these heavy waters,
All the stuck emotion,
Relaxing your body deeper and deeper,
More and more.
As you start to feel lighter,
Start connecting with your heart,
Paying attention to your heart,
Breathing in deeply into your heart,
Breathing in,
Creating space,
A deep deep breath in and release.
Feel how this area feels,
How the space around your heart feels,
Placing one hand on your heart,
Feeling your heartbeat.
With every inhalation,
Feel the movement of your heart on your hands,
Expanding,
Feeling it become bigger with every inhalation,
Feeling your heart drop with every exhalation.
Just notice how your heart feels right now.
If it feels light and warm,
Spacious or it feels contracted and heavy,
Maybe you don't feel anything at all,
Everything is completely fine.
Just notice what you feel.
Now grabbing your cup of cacao or your tea into your hands,
Feeling the cup into your hands,
The warmth of the cacao and bring it to your heart,
Creating a connection.
Just notice how this cacao feels right in front of your heart,
Thanking yourself for taking this time,
Taking the time to connect to yourself,
To your body,
To your inner wisdom,
So that you can listen.
Listen what it has to say,
Giving thanks to the people who cultivated this cacao.
Cacao,
What helps us connect,
Connect to ourselves,
Connect to the earth,
Connect to each other,
Bringing more love and compassion into ourselves,
Into our hearts,
Into the world.
And while you have your cacao right in front of your heart,
Feel into your heart and listen what her desire is.
Listen what your heart is yearning for.
Listen what your heart longs for.
Maybe your heart is screaming at you,
Maybe it's a gentle whisper,
Very soft,
Letting you know.
If you can't make a connection,
Maybe you can ask a question,
Set an intention for this meditation,
For this new moon cycle,
For this new month,
This new lunar month.
Drop deep into your heart,
Sink into your heart.
Maybe you want some guidance,
A question to be answered,
Or you can ask what is it I most need in this moment.
When you have your intention,
You can bring your cup of cacao closer to your face and start whispering your intention into your cup of cacao.
And when you're ready,
You can start sipping your cacao,
Feeling how it feels into your mouth,
The warmth,
The softness,
Feel how it's flowing into your body,
Feel how it's softening you with every sip you think of your intention,
With every breath in you think of your intention.
You let this intention flow through your body with your cacao,
Melting away any tension left in your body,
Relaxing it more,
Dropping deeper,
Dropping deeper into yourself,
Dropping deeper into your heart.
Feel her warmth,
Her nourishment flow through your body,
Making you feel held,
Deeply connected and in tune with yourself,
Connecting you deeper with your inner wisdom.
As you continue sipping your cacao,
Relaxing deeper,
Start asking yourself a question.
What is my deepest,
Deepest heart desire?
What is my unique heart desire?
Right in this present moment,
How can I follow this deep heart desire,
Even if it seems strange,
Even if it doesn't make any sense,
Even if it might not be might not make any use,
If it doesn't make any sense with your rational and logical mind.
Just drop deeper into your heart and feel,
Feel what your desires are,
What your big dreams are,
What feels good for you,
Only for you,
What is it you want to do just for you.
Feel into it,
Keep breathing into your heart,
Connecting to your heart,
Feel what your body wants to do in this moment,
Maybe it wants to move,
Maybe you want to lay down,
Make yourself more comfortable,
Do whatever feels good for you right in this moment,
Whatever your body is telling you to do,
And trust whatever comes up is exactly right for you,
Even if it seems like there's nothing there,
Then it's right for you,
Then it's exactly what you need right in this moment.
Become still,
Whenever your thoughts want somewhere else,
Connect to your breath,
Breathe into your heart,
Expanding your heart with every inhalation,
Trust your inner wisdom,
Your inner knowing.
When you become still,
You can connect to what lives inside,
You can connect to your truth,
To what is true for you.
Slowly start to connect with your breath again,
Feeling your belly expands and collapse with every exhalation,
You can start wiggling your toes again,
Your wrists,
Twisting your head,
Slowly,
Slowly coming back with a soft gaze,
Opening your eyes,
If you want you can relax a little bit more,
Connect a bit more with yourself,
Feel the effects of cacao,
Move through you,
You can dance,
You can move,
Or journal,
Whatever feels right for you.
