I'm Rosalie and welcome to this 10-minute guided meditation designed to help you release any stress,
Worry or anxiety.
To begin,
Come into your most comfortable position.
This could be seated on the floor or on a chair or perhaps even lying down.
Just find a position where you feel comfortable and completely at ease.
Allow your eyes to blink closed and turn your awareness inwards.
We'll begin today by taking 3 big cleansing breaths.
As you exhale,
Sigh the air out.
So let's take a big inhale through the nose.
And again.
One more big inhale.
Let it all go.
Now allow the lips to come together,
Breathing in and out through the nose.
Tune into your body.
And notice if you're holding onto any tension.
Relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw.
Feel the whole of your face and your head completely relaxed.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Feel them melting down.
Relax your arms,
Your hips,
Your legs.
Let your whole body soften and relax.
From the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
Completely relaxed.
Now tune into your mind and notice what thoughts might be running around in your mind.
Just observe any storylines,
Any to-do lists,
Any worries.
Acknowledge them and then let them go.
To help you do this,
You might like to visualize a box with a heavy lid.
Imagine putting every thought,
Every worry into that box.
You could visualize it as an image.
Once you've done this,
Close the heavy lid and allow your mind to soften and relax.
Now tune into your breath and bring all your tension to the point where you feel the breath most in the body.
Perhaps your nostrils or your chest,
Perhaps your belly.
Let this be your point of focus.
Feel the flow of the breath in and out of the body at that point.
Feel your body expanding as you inhale and softening and releasing as you exhale.
Continue like this.
Now see yourself at the top of a set of stairs.
I'll be counting down from 10 to 1.
With every number,
Take a step down the stairs.
See yourself do this in your mind's eye.
With each number,
You'll progressively feel yourself becoming a little bit more relaxed.
10,
You're at the top of the stairs.
9,
Take a step down.
8,
Another step.
7,
Feel your body relaxing deeper and deeper.
6,
Take a step down.
5,
Feeling more and more relaxed.
4,
3,
Letting go even more.
2,
Feel yourself relaxing deeper and deeper.
1,
1,
You're at the bottom of the steps,
Feeling completely relaxed.
Bring your awareness once again to your breath.
As you inhale,
Breathe in a sense of ease.
As you exhale,
Breathe out stress.
Inhale ease.
Exhale stress.
Now say to yourself,
I am fully at ease.
I am fully at ease.
And feel yourself completely at ease.
Now as you inhale,
Breathe in a sense of peace.
As you exhale,
Breathe out any worries.
Inhale peace.
Exhale worry.
Now say to yourself,
I am fully at peace.
I am fully at peace.
And feel yourself completely at peace.
Now as you inhale,
Breathe in love.
As you exhale,
Breathe out any negativity.
Inhale love.
Exhale any negativity.
Feel yourself full of love.
Fill yourself up with a feeling of ease,
Peace and love.
And allow these energies to flow through every cell in every part of your body.
May hear a few more breaths,
Basking in this feeling of ease,
Peace and love.
Know that everything is always working out for you.
At the core of your being,
You are ease,
Peace and love.
Everything is always working out for you.
Bring these energies of ease and peace and love with you as you move throughout the rest of your day.
