Hello there!

This is Sandeep from Inside Timer.

Welcome to today's episode of Message of the Day.

Today's message is about giving more energy to your dreams than to your fears.

If you are like most people,

Chances are that every day you have thoughts about things that can go wrong.

You may be thinking about how you missed a wonderful opportunity or regretting about something you shouldn't have done in the past.

Our mind is very good at showing the innumerable things that are not going well in our life.

Even when it comes to our future,

We tend to think about the worst-case scenarios quite often.

Now,

There's an evolutionary reason for this kind of negative thinking.

In the past,

When our ancestors lived in jungles or caves,

Their minds had to constantly think about the lurking dangers so that they could be avoided.

This was very helpful in the past when our lifestyle was very different than what we have today.

But in today's modern-day world,

This tendency is not always helpful.

That's why we need to retrain our minds to feel safe and realize that we don't have as many life-threatening situations in our daily lives as we did in the past.

We have to reprogram our mind to give more energy to our dreams than to our fears.

Today,

Think what can go right instead of what can go wrong.

We definitely need a plan B in case things don't work out,

But we don't have to obsess over it.
