I wrote this meditation to help anyone who may be feeling like they are absorbing all the energy around them...for anyone who feels the weight of the environment they are in and would like to find some release. I wrote this meditation to help anyone who may be feeling like they are absorbing all of the energy around them.

For anyone who feels the weight of the environment they are in and would like to find some release.

If this resonates with you,

I welcome you to allow yourself to this time.

The only obligation you have at this moment is to yourself.

I would like to invite you to find a comfortable seated position with your posture straight and dignified.

Close your eyes or bring your gaze downward towards the earth below you.

Take a few moments here to begin connecting with your breath.

Take two deep breaths,

Pausing at the top and sighing and release.

Then with your mouth closed,

Bring a natural rhythm back to your breath.

Inhaling with honor and intention and exhaling with love and compassion.

Inhale,

Welcoming the energy that serves you.

Exhale,

Releasing the energy that does not serve you.

Bring your awareness to your body and send the energy of your breath towards each body part.

Begin with your feet,

Toes and ankles,

Allowing them to relax.

Breathe into your calves,

Your thighs and your hips.

Feel your stomach,

Back and shoulders sink and feel that release all the way through your fingertips.

And release any tension in your face,

Your jaw or between your eyebrows.

You are where you are meant to be.

With your inhalation,

Feel your body grow lighter and lighter.

And with your exhalation,

Feel your body melt into the earth below you.

Inhaling,

Creating space full of love and light.

Exhaling,

Releasing pain and exhaustion.

You are one of a kind and you are worthy of peace and love.

Often times,

We look past the fact that the source of receiving peace and love comes from within.

The only responsibility you have is to your highest well-being.

For it is there where you will find the pure energy to spread your light and your love.

Begin to imagine you are walking along the beach.

The sun is slightly warming your body and your toes are sinking into the sand below you.

You begin to walk mindfully towards the shore and the sounds of the waves crashing in front of you grow nearer and nearer.

When you arrive where the water meets the sand beneath your feet,

You take a seat and you lay back to see the clouds dancing past you.

You bring awareness back to your breath and you realize that the water and your breath are moving in synchrony.

With your inhale,

The water gently hugs your body and with your exhale,

It slowly drifts away.

This ocean has healing water and you are welcoming to this experience.

As you breathe with the movement of the water,

You are allowing the water to nourish the parts of your soul that have been neglected or looked over and you are allowing the water to wash away the pain that is not yours to carry.

This healing water brings you love,

Compassion,

And acceptance.

It washes away guilt,

Suffering,

And expectations.

Allow this flow of breath to embody the flow of water upon your skin.

Realize that life is but a flow of emotions and creations.

Once you feel complete from this healing water,

You bring your attention back to the dancing clouds above you.

These clouds represent the beauty of what you have gained.

The pain that you have carried that is not yours has transcended into these clouds.

It has evaporated into the sky above you.

You acknowledge them with appreciation and they dissipate into the atmosphere until all you are left with is the warmth of the sun bringing you back home to yourself.

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Feel the space around you and the sensations you have created within you.

Slowly inhale,

Filling your lungs with the peace you have welcomed and open your mouth to sigh out any last release that you must let go of.

Open your eyes and take a moment to thank yourself for showing up for you.
