Hello and welcome to your meditation.

This meditation is all about the heart chakra,

The Anahata chakra.

The heart chakra is located in your chest and in your heart space and it's associated with the color green,

With the element of air,

And it's associated with our cardiac system and our lungs.

The mantra that is connected to the Anahata chakra is YAM,

Spelled Y-A-M.

Our heart chakra is the bridge between our lower and upper chakras.

It is the center of unconditional love,

Empathy,

And compassion.

An open and healthy heart chakra opens us up to experience and welcome love and beauty into our lives.

It gives us the means to direct love back to ourselves and it allows us to see that love is eternal.

It can always be found and created.

Through healing our heart,

We find genuine acceptance of others and of ourselves.

So as we begin our meditation,

I would like to invite you to find a comfortable position.

Maybe that is sitting on a cushion or a chair or maybe you're lying down.

Whatever feels the most safe and comfortable in your body right now,

Go ahead and find that.

And if you have not already,

I would like to invite you to close your eyes or you can simply soften your gaze.

Before we do go into meditation,

I would like to offer a moment to chant together the mantra connected with the Anahata chakra,

Yam,

The mantra connected with our heart chakra.

We will chant this together one time.

So go ahead and exhale fully and then inhale for yam.

Start to bring intention into your breath,

Bringing awareness to your breathing.

Noticing how your body naturally moves with your inhale and with your exhale.

Take a deep inhale,

Filling your lungs with love and a deep exhale,

Releasing any energy that does not support you here and now.

Take a deep breath and send love to every cell in your body and a deep breath out,

Feeling supported in this moment.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Take a moment to scan your body from head to toe.

Noticing if there is anywhere that you are holding tension,

Any stagnant energy.

Bringing your awareness to these spaces and allow yourself to relax and let it go.

Using your breath to relax your body.

You are exactly where you are meant to be.

Time for some time with your own breath,

Your own rhythm of breathing.

Keeping your awareness on your breath,

How it travels in,

How it travels out.

On your breath in,

Feel how your chest and your heart open slightly and on your breath out,

Feel your body grounding and supported by the surface below you.

Now begin to visualize the color green,

The color that symbolizes the heart chakra,

The space of love,

Compassion,

And balance.

See this green color in front of you and imagine that with your breath,

You are breathing this loving green color in through your nose until it finds your heart space.

Breathing in the color green and breathing out,

Feeling it grow and settle in your heart.

This green energy grows stronger with your breath.

You are breathing life and love into your heart and into your soul.

On your next inhale,

Feel the energy created from this healing green energy in your heart space.

And on your exhale,

Feel it radiate throughout your entire being.

Exhaling the loving energy and exhaling,

Sending it out throughout your body and into the space around you.

Affirmations are a powerful tool for healing as we move into affirmations directed towards the heart chakra.

I want you to repeat them to yourself either silently or out loud as you reach your arm out grasping the love from these words and pulling them into your chest.

Repeat after me.

I am worthy of love.

Reach your arm out claiming these words,

Bring it into your heart as you repeat again.

I am worthy of love.

I live in harmony and balance with myself and others.

See these words in front of you as you pull them into yourself saying,

I live in harmony and balance with myself and others.

I am open to give and receive love.

Name this energy as your own,

Bring it in and repeat.

I am open to give and receive love.

I forgive myself and others.

Find these words with your arms stretched out,

Take it in and repeat.

I forgive myself and others.

Take a deep breath in through your belly,

Up through your chest,

Out through the crown of your head and open your mouth,

Sigh it out.

Gently and kindly begin to bring your awareness back into your body.

If it feels comfortable to you,

I would like to invite you to bring your hands to meet in heart center and in Anjali Mudra.

Now begin to rub your palms together quickly,

Generating heat and building energy.

And when it feels right,

Bring both hands to your heart,

Feel the energy created,

Healing your Anahata chakra,

Cultivating love,

Compassion and forgiveness.

Namaste.
