Welcome to meditation.
A practice to come home.
Take a moment to settle into a position where your body feels completely supported.
There is nowhere else that you need to be.
Nothing to prove,
Nothing to become.
For just this little while.
You are invited to come home.
Close your eyes,
Take a slow breath in through your nose and gently breathe out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Allow your breath to find its own rhythm.
Allow your body to soften.
Allow the day to become a little quieter.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice that it asks nothing of you.
It does not measure your success.
It does not care how productive you've been.
It simply holds you.
Allow yourself to receive that support.
As you drift gently towards rest,
Know that there is nothing that you need to fix before you are worthy of peace.
There is nothing that you need to finish before you deserve to rest.
There is nothing that you need to earn.
You are already here.
Bring your awareness to your intention.
Not a goal.
Not a destination.
A return.
And remembering.
Silently repeat to yourself.
I am coming home to myself.
Again,
I am coming home to myself.
Allow these words to quietly settle.
Like a familiar melody returning after a long silence.
Feel your whole body breathing.
Your whole body resting.
Notice the gentle rhythm that has always been here beneath the noise.
Beneath the striving.
Beneath every version of yourself that believed that she had to carry everything alone.
You Perhaps you have experienced seasons of holding.
Holding responsibility.
Holding grief.
Holding space for the emergencies of others.
Holding expectations.
Holding the belief that strength meant never softening.
Simply notice.
There is nothing to judge.
Every version of you was doing her best.
Every version of you was trying to protect something precious.
Offer gratitude to the woman who carried so much.
She brought you here and now she is allowed to rest.
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a familiar forest path.
You have walked this path before.
Although it somehow feels different today.
The trees welcome you without question.
The earth remembers your footsteps.
The breeze recognizes your breath.
Begin to slowly walk.
Not searching.
Not rushing simply returning.
With every step.
You gently set something down.
The need to prove yourself.
A role that no longer fits.
The weight of always being the strong one.
The pressure to have everything figured out.
Do not throw these things away.
But you thank them.
Then you leave them beside the path.
They were needed once.
They are no longer yours to carry.
As the path opens,
You arrive in a quiet meadow.
Golden light stretches across the grasses.
Everything feels familiar.
Not because you've been here before.
But because this place feels like you.
You sit upon the earth,
Feeling completely supported.
The silence is gentle.
It is not empty.
That is full of possibility.
You notice that nothing is asking you to become someone new.
Life is simply inviting you to remember who you have always been.
The teacher,
The guide.
The woman who finds healing in stillness.
The one who trusts the wisdom of slow practices.
The one who knows that presence changes people more deeply than performance ever could.
Take a slow breath.
Allow that knowing to settle into your heart.
Now imagine placing one hand over your heart.
The other over your belly.
Feel the warmth of your own hands.
The energy.
Notice that your body has always known how to comfort you.
Silently say to yourself,
I release what no longer belongs to me.
I welcome what is ready to grow.
I trust the season I am in.
I do not need to rush what is unfolding.
Is what begins to arise.
Perhaps there is relief.
Maybe sadness.
Excitement.
Uncertainty.
Welcome it all.
Nothing is arriving by mistake.
Everything belongs.
Just as every season belongs.
Now imagine the people,
Places,
And experiences that are waiting for the version of you who no longer needs to hide.
The relationships that feel safe.
The work that feels meaningful.
The moments of quiet joy.
Those who are searching for exactly what only you can offer.
You do not need to chase any of it.
Simply become available to it.
Let your heart soften.
Let your shoulders release.
Let yourself receive.
Return now to your intention.
Silently repeat,
I am coming home to myself.
Again,
I am coming home to myself.
Notice how those words feel now.
Perhaps a little warmer.
Perhaps a little more familiar.
Like returning to a place that has been waiting for you all along.
Notice your breath.
The support beneath your body.
The sounds around you.
Gently invite movement into your fingers.
And into your toes.
Inviting in a deep body stretch in whatever way feels nourishing.
Taking your time.
There is no rush.
Before you leave this practice,
Remember You do not have to become someone else to begin again.
You do not have to carry every chapter with you into the next one.
Life moves in seasons.
Some ask us to build.
Some ask us to hold on.
Some quietly invite us to let go.
And some like this one.
Invite us to come home.
Trust this season.
Trust in your unfolding.
Trust the quiet wisdom that has guided you here.
You are allowed to choose peace.
You are allowed to choose joy.
You are allowed to choose work that nourishes your soul.
You are allowed to be loved without armor.
You're allowed to soften.
You are allowed to begin again.
Take another deep breath in through the nose.
A soft exhale through the mouth.
When you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
You have returned home.
