This is Robin Berg and this is the Begin Again Meditation that you can use whenever you want to intentionally create a fresh start or a new beginning.
Feel free to use it to signify any new beginning you desire,
Whether it's just around moon cycles or a new month or a season or simply a new day when you need a reset.
And remember,
Endings always fold into new beginnings as well,
So you can plan it around endings also.
Take a moment for a couple easy breaths and shake out any tension that might be in your body.
Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
What is it to begin again?
It is acknowledging that it's time for a new awakening.
It is the time for making an intentional shift toward possibilities and mindsets that are uplifting,
Hope giving and offer the promise of different outcomes.
When you intentionally choose to begin again,
You send a signal out into the world that you are willing and open to the possibility of transformation on some level.
You send a signal that in this moment you choose a path that uplifts you,
That aligns with who you truly are,
That nourishes your soul.
When you choose to begin again,
It represents a powerful claiming of what you do want.
Every day you have the opportunity to begin again.
Every day you make choices to move away from stuck patterns and habits that are not working.
Every day you can start moving forward again and take small yet powerful steps that support the unfolding of a new lifestyle.
A lifestyle you truly desire.
So to launch this new beginning,
Start by taking some slow deep breaths into your lower belly,
Into your ribs and low back.
Breathe in a willingness to release all that you no longer need at this time in your life to make space to begin again.
Breathe in a willingness to release the outmoded beliefs,
Patterns that keep you stuck,
Energy that doesn't belong to you,
And the suffering from long ago or the fear that blocks you from fully experiencing all that life offers.
Willingness.
Breathe it fully into every fiber of your being.
And then imagine a beautiful pond,
Calm and peaceful,
With lily pads decorating the surface and dragonflies glinting in the sunlight.
Imagine holding the intention to release one element in your life that no longer serves you and as you do,
Notice as a green bud pushes its way up through the water.
As it slowly unfolds,
An iridescent bubble lifts out of that bud,
Carrying with it that element which you choose to release.
Effortlessly it floats out into the beyond to be transformed into light,
A signal to the universe that you are willing.
At the same time,
The lotus bud slowly unfolds into a lush,
Vibrant bloom.
Welcome this new bloom,
This new beginning.
This bloom holds new possibilities,
New choices,
New outcomes.
This bloom expresses your new beginning.
Continue breathing and repeat this visualization,
Releasing what no longer serves you.
Each time,
See the bud pushing through,
The bubble rise out of the bud and the flower bloom to life.
And each time,
Releasing an element that floats away in the bubble.
And it's okay if you want to repeat the same release element just over and over for the entire meditation until it really starts to feel softer,
Easier.
It sometimes takes a few rounds with a rooted element,
Something you've been dealing with a long time,
To release it.
So just do it over and over again until it feels a little softer and you may need to come back to it tomorrow or another day.
It's okay.
Continue with it with patience and kindness.
Let it know that you no longer need this element.
Also it's okay if you wish to have multiple elements that you release,
Each one separately or all at once.
Listen to your inner wise self and trust what falls to you.
Feel free to pause here for a time,
Gently repeating the visualization of allowing your release to bubble up and rise from beneath the water and be carried away,
Leaving behind beautiful new life.
Take as long as you need.
The lotus flower is destined to grow from the mud.
It starts in a place of challenge and darkness and reaches out for the light.
Our growth is much the same.
Embody this journey of the lotus flower and allowing the mud to be the beginning of your unique and beautiful journey.
Continue breathing gently and begin to feel into the new possibilities that lay before you.
Invite in a calm sense of willingness to continue opening to begin again without judgment,
Simply with gentle acceptance and trust.
Allow your breath to slowly bring you back into the present moment.
Start to feel sensations and energy in your body from head to toe,
Little by little.
And gently bring with you the images of opening,
Releasing,
Welcoming beauty.
Finish with a few easy breaths and when you're ready,
Slowly reopen your eyes to rejoin your day willing to begin again.
