Take a moment to "Slow Your Thoughts". This three-minute meditation is a combination of breath work. We live in a busy world and sometimes find it hard to focus on just one task. In Buddhist teaching, the superactive mind is referred to as the "Monkey Mind"

Hello and welcome to Slow Your Thoughts.

With our busy day today,

We have a tendency to let the mind run rampant.

Take these three minutes to use this meditation to calm the mind.

Getting into a comfortable seated position.

Placing the hands on the abdomen.

And begin with taking a deep,

Slow breath into the nose.

Releasing the breath slow.

Feeling the belly button coming back towards the spine.

Taking a moment to commit to one more breath just like that.

And release.

Feeling the mind calm.

Breathe in through the nose.

And release.

Breathe in.

And release.

How are you feeling in this moment?

Are you anxious,

Nervous,

Or excited?

Giving yourself a response.

In this moment,

I feel.

Breathe in through the nose.

And release.

And last one.

Bringing the hands together in the prayer mudra.

Offering yourself wisdom and compassion in this moment.

Giving yourself a face massage.

Thank you for joining me.

Happy healing.
