Hello and welcome to check in with self a five minute body scan breath work meditation taking this moment to check in with your energy,
Check in with your nervous system,
Getting into a seated position with your spine elongated,
Taking three cleansing breaths,
Breathing in through the nose and then exhaling through the mouth with an audible sigh,
Taking the left hand placing it on the heart center,
The middle of the chest and taking the right hand and placing it over the abdomen,
Drawing your attention to the top of your head,
Feeling as the energy flows down the face,
Inhale and slowly exhale,
Feeling the face relax,
Going to the neck and the shoulders,
Taking in a deep breath,
Exhale,
Feeling the shoulders relax and down the spine,
Taking a deep breath at the shoulder blades,
Slowly exhaling,
Feeling the shoulders relax,
Moving to the chest,
Taking in a deep breath and slowly exhaling,
The chest relax into the abdomen and the muscles surrounding,
Taking in a deep breath,
Slowly exhaling,
Feeling the abs,
Feeling this relaxed sensation traveling down the hips and the pelvic floor,
Inhale and slowly exhale,
To the knees,
The shins and calves,
Down to the ankles,
Engulfing the feet,
Breathing in and then slowly exhaling,
Slowly exhaling,
Sitting in this moment,
Feeling the body relaxed,
Feeling the muscles relaxed,
Take a moment to listen to your heart,
We spend so much time listening to the racing thoughts,
We'll get a moment for self,
Listen,
Any sounds that come in from the outside,
Just welcome them in,
Then release,
The thoughts begin to come in,
Welcome them in,
Yes I need to do this,
But I will do it after this moment to self,
Taking in a nice deep breath and then exhale,
Let's do two more like that,
Breathing in and then last one,
