Welcome to this guided meditation for cultivating gratitude and positivity.
Find a comfortable seated position,
Close your eyes and take a moment to center yourself.
As you begin this meditation,
Set the intention to face this day with gratitude and positivity.
Begin to bring your awareness to your breath.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Allowing your chest and abdomen to expand.
Exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or worries.
Feel your body becoming present and relaxed.
Continue to breathe consciously and notice how your breath begins to slow down.
With each exhale imagine any tension melting away.
As you begin to relax,
Let the feeling of relaxation flow through your neck,
Shoulders,
Arms and down to your fingertips.
Now shift your focus to gratitude.
Bring to mind something you are genuinely grateful for.
It could be a person in your life,
Your job or a recent experience.
Allow the warmth of gratitude to fill you up.
Take a moment to see your life from a broader perspective.
Notice the simple blessings in your life,
Maybe a safe place to rest or a meal to enjoy.
Now shift your attention back to your breath.
Inhale positivity and gratitude and exhale any lingering negativity or doubt.
Each breath is a reminder that you're in control of your mindset.
Remember that while you can't control what happens to you,
You can choose how to respond to things.
You can use each difficult situation as an opportunity to respond in the best possible way and be the best version of yourself.
