Do you feel burnt out or overwhelmed?
Knowing you need to change your life,
But not quite sure where to start?
I've helped a lot of people get their life back on track and the most powerful life transformation comes from the change within you first,
Then the outer change naturally follows.
In this guided meditation,
I'll break down the three steps to help you fix your life and importantly,
Do it so that it aligns with who you are.
We'll start with relaxing the mind to get into a reflective state,
Then I'll share each step and ask you powerful questions to apply to your life.
So make sure you're in a safe,
Quiet place,
Not driving or using machinery,
So you can relax.
This isn't medical advice or therapy.
Really this is about empowering your personal growth.
So get yourself comfy,
Close your eyes and begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Then exhale slowly.
Take another deep breath in this way and then let your breath naturally find its own rhythm.
Allow your body to completely relax,
Feeling the support of the surface beneath you,
Muscles softening,
Body settling,
Mind relaxing,
Easing into a calm and focused state for life reflection.
Now,
The first step to fix your life is the reset phase.
You might have had a long time of feeling stuck or feeling too busy or drained to change things,
So this step involves resetting your whole mind body system and you want to take your best state,
Your best you,
Into your life change.
So here are some questions to help you reflect on how to reset yourself.
Just be mindful of the thoughts and feelings that come up and follow your intuition for ideas.
How can you prioritise your physical health every day?
How can you build regular deep relaxation into your life?
How can you do less of the things that aren't really important?
How can you minimise contact with people who drain your energy and maximise contact with people who give you energy?
How can you protect you time for reflection and deep inner work?
How can you do more of the things that bring you real joy?
So,
After a life reset,
The second step is reflect,
Because before you set off on your journey you want to make sure you're heading in the right direction.
Here are some questions to help you.
What area of your life is the most important to change right now?
What would that change give you?
Your answer to that question hints at your life values,
Which you have to align with your life for real fulfilment.
If you feel strongly about an answer,
It can mean you're close to a core value.
Keep asking yourself,
What does that give me,
And notice the answer with the strongest emotional response.
You also want a clear idea of your own identity.
This next question can give you an idea of not only what kind of person you are,
But your strengths as well.
What positive things do people say about you?
When you're not in the room.
Now,
With the self-awareness of what you want,
What you value and knowing who you are,
The last step is resolve.
You now have to set your life goal and make an action plan to get there.
To help with this,
Contemplate these questions.
What do you really want?
You may have a general idea of forming.
Make it as specific as you can.
Pick a point in the future and imagine how your life is different with the change.
Check that this goal links to your values.
Also,
Check that it feels in line with who you are.
Now,
In that future,
What are the major things you've had to do to achieve that goal?
What is the first thing you could do by the end of tomorrow to take your first step on your new life path?
Well done.
Now,
Open your eyes,
Bringing with you any insights you've had,
Keeping the most impactful ideas at the forefront of your mind.
Just remember those three key steps,
Reset,
Reflect,
Resolve.
