Transcript

Take this moment to rest back into any position that feels comfortable,

Lying down,

Sitting,

Standing,

Or even walking about,

Whatever feels most right,

While weaving this meditation into any position you might find comfortable to meet yourself in this moment.

With your eyes gently open or softly closed,

Let your senses open to the environment and sounds around,

Sensations where your body touches the surfaces that are providing support,

And bring attention and rest in the coming and going of each breath,

Welcoming the sensations throughout the body that accompany each exhalation,

Each inhalation,

Suspending thinking and simply sensing and welcoming the gentle rise and release of your belly as breath comes in and goes out,

Suspending thoughts and thinking,

Simply sensing the gentle feelings of rise and release as breath comes in and goes out,

Exhaling,

Letting go into resting at ease,

At peace,

The felt sense of well-being spreading throughout the body with each exhalation,

Inhalation,

Suspending thinking,

Resting into the ease of simply being and being with everything just as it is,

Nothing to know,

Nothing to do,

The ease of simply being and everything just as it is.

Before returning to your day,

Set a gentle intention and reminder to pause like this little and often to connect with this inner felt sense of calm,

Peace,

And well-being,

And the ease of simply being that's always here waiting for you wherever you are,

Whomever you're with,

Whatever your circumstances,

Simply exhaling,

Letting go,

And resting back in a moment of simply being at ease and at peace that you can take back with you now into your day.
